GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING

• GROUP HERBICIDE: GF-2685 belongs to the pyridine group of herbicides with a disrupter of plant cell growth mode of action.
• Weed Resistance Management: GF-2685 is a Group I herbicide. Resistant weed biotypes may exist, and their dominance can occur with repeated use. This product may not control resistant weeds, and Dow AgroSciences Australia Limited accepts no liability for resulting losses.

APPLICATION

• Ground Boom Application: Apply in 80 – 100L/ha water by ground boom, not less than 80 L/ha by aerial application.
• COARSE Droplet Size or Larger Categories: Follow APVMA compliance instructions for mandatory COARSE or larger droplet size categories.

Mandatory Instructions for Ground Applications:

• Nozzle Selection: Use only nozzles rated by the manufacturer to deliver COARSE, VERY COARSE, or EXTREMELY COARSE droplet sizes.
• Spray System Pressure: Do not exceed the maximum pressure specified by the nozzle manufacturer.

Mandatory Instructions for Fixed-Wing Aerial Applications: Option 1:

• For a maximum aircraft speed of 110 knots and a COARSE droplet size, use solid stream 0° nozzles with specified conditions.

Option 2:

• For a maximum aircraft speed of 120 knots and a COARSE droplet size, use narrow-angle flat fan nozzles with specified conditions.

Option 3:

• Use nozzles rated by the APVMA Approved AAAA Nozzle Calculator as COARSE or VERY COARSE. Follow specific conditions in the calculator.

Mandatory Instructions for Helicopter Aerial Applications: Option 1:

• For COARSE or VERY COARSE droplet size, use nozzles selected for fixed-wing aircraft.

Option 2:

• For Micronair controlled droplet applicators, use nozzles based on Micronair Droplet Size Prediction Models.

Option 3:

• For Accu-Flo nozzles, use nozzles rated according to the manufacturer's instructions for COARSE, VERY COARSE, or EXTREMELY COARSE droplet sizes.

MIXING

• Measure the required quantity of granules by weighing on scales.
• GF-2685 granules are highly soluble in water, dissolve rapidly in fast-moving water.
• Maintain agitation at all times, including during mixing and spraying.
