GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Product Characteristics:

  • The product is translocated throughout the plant, affecting both foliage and roots.
  • Best results are achieved during active growth of target species in moderate climatic conditions, free of disease and dirt cover.
  • Symptoms of chemical effect (yellowing, wilting, browning) typically appear 2-7 days after spraying annual species and 2-3 weeks after spraying perennial species.

Safety to Crops:

  • The chemical is non-selective, avoid contact with desirable crops, plants, or trees.
  • Guidelines to prevent contact:
    1. Avoid spraying when wind blows towards desirable plants.
    2. Avoid fine droplet settings (<150 microns) during calibration.
    3. Avoid spraying in winds >8k/hr, still air, and hot days.

Spray Preparation:

  1. Ensure a clean tank free of residues.
  2. Half-fill the tank with clean water, avoiding soil particles or hard water.
  3. Add the appropriate product amount as per Directions for Use.
  4. Mix well, keeping the filling hose below the surface to prevent foaming.
  5. Fill the vat with water, remove hose promptly to prevent back siphoning.

Surfactant:

  • The addition of surfactant may enhance weed control, especially with high water rates or low product rates.
  • Suggested surfactant rates: 200mL/100L of 1000g/L non-ionic surfactant or 250-500mL of 700g/L surfactant.
  • Do not add non-approved herbicides, insecticides, or materials not directed on the label.

Rainfall Effects:

  • Heavy rain within 2 hours can wash off the chemical, requiring potential respraying.
  • Normal rain within 6 hours may reduce effectiveness.
  • Avoid application when weeds are stressed (drought, water logging, frost).

Soil Persistence:

  • The product is not persistent in soils, rapidly broken down by soil microbes and moisture.
  • Refer to "Compatibility Section" for residual activity.

Resistant Weeds Warning:

  • The product is a Group M Herbicide. Weed resistance may occur with repeated use.
  • Follow best practices to manage resistance.

Application Equipment:

  • Suitable for knapsack, handgun, boom, wiper, and aerial application.
  • Adjust equipment and settings for optimal efficiency and coverage.

Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:

  • Avoid drift onto nearby susceptible plants, crops, or pastures.
  • Do not spray on weeds over water.
  • Do not contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways.

Protection of Livestock:

  • No withholding period for grazing stock.
  • Keep livestock clear of treated annual weeds for one day and perennial weeds for 7 days.

Storage and Disposal:

  • Do not store in galvanized steel or unlined steel containers.
  • Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
  • Triple or pressure rinse containers before disposal.
  • Dispose of rinsings in the spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
  • Follow guidelines for recycling or proper burial of empty containers.
  • Refillable containers: Empty fully and return to the point of supply for refill or storage.

Safety Directions:

  • The product can irritate eyes and skin. Avoid contact.
  • Wear protective equipment during preparation and application.
  • Wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly after use.
  • Wash gloves and contaminated clothing after each use.
