GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Best Practices: For optimal results, apply Kenso Agcare Guru 750 WG Herbicide to young, actively growing weeds. The application rate depends on the weed spectrum at the time of application. The effectiveness and duration of control are influenced by the rate used, the size and sensitivity of the target weeds, and environmental conditions. The herbicide rapidly halts the growth of susceptible weeds, with noticeable symptoms appearing 1 to 3 weeks post-application.

Environmental Conditions: Warm, moist conditions enhance the activity of Kenso Agcare Guru 750 WG Herbicide, while cold, dry conditions may delay its effects. Weeds exposed to cold weather or drought stress may exhibit reduced susceptibility.

Glyphosate Addition: Where recommended, the addition of Glyphosate enhances knockdown and weed control, minimizing the risk of resistant weed development.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

As a Sulfonylurea herbicide with the Inhibitor of Acetolactate Synthase (ALS) mode of action, Kenso Agcare Guru 750 WG Herbicide is a Group B Herbicide. Continuous use may lead to naturally occurring resistant weed biotypes dominating the population. The herbicide will not control these resistant weeds. Monitoring surviving weeds is crucial, and strategies to prevent seed set should be implemented.

Tank Mixing: Avoid using Group B Herbicide against the same weed in the crop following the use of Kenso Agcare Guru 750 WG Herbicide alone (fallow or pre-crop treatment). However, this exclusion does not apply if the herbicide was tank mixed with Glyphosate. Prolonged use of Group B Herbicide on the same weed population should be avoided.

Herbicide Resistance Management: Efforts to minimize herbicide resistance risks are available. Consult with your farm chemical supplier, consultant, local Department of Agriculture or Primary Industries, or Kenso Agcare Australia representative.

CROP SAFETY:

DO NOT apply chlorsulfuron, metsulfuron-methyl, or triasulfuron products in a tank mix with Kenso Agcare Guru 750 WG Herbicide for fallow or pre-crop treatment.

SPRAY PREPARATION:

Kenso Agcare Guru 750 WG Herbicide is a dry flowable formulation. Mix with water and apply as a spray. Maintain continuous agitation to keep the material in suspension. In tank mixes, ensure Kenso Agcare Guru 750 WG Herbicide is in suspension before adding companion herbicides or surfactant/wetting agents.

COMPATIBILITY:

Kenso Agcare Guru 750 WG Herbicide is compatible with Glyphosate herbicides.

USE OF SURFACTANT/WETTING AGENT:

Include a non-ionic surfactant (1000g/L – non–buffering type) at 100 mL/100L (0.1% v/v) of the final spray volume. If applying Kenso Agcare Guru 750 WG Herbicide alone by air, add a mineral spray oil at 1L/100L (1% v/v) of the final spray volume.

GROUND SPRAYING:

Use a calibrated boom spray at a constant speed and delivery rate for thorough coverage. Avoid overlapping and shut off spray booms during certain maneuvers. Apply a minimum of 50L prepared spray/ha.

AERIAL SPRAYING:

Apply a minimum of 20L/ha water, with 30L/ha improving performance reliability. Avoid spraying in still conditions or winds causing drift onto adjacent sensitive crops or fallow areas. Do not apply during likely air inversion.

SPRAYER CLEANUP:

To prevent subsequent crop injury, thoroughly remove all traces of Kenso Agcare Guru 750 WG Herbicide from mixing and spray equipment after use. Follow a systematic cleaning process involving rinsing, flushing, and treatment with a cleansing solution containing household ammonia. Proper disposal of rinsate is emphasized, ensuring it does not contaminate sensitive crops or land intended for cropping. If necessary, repeat the cleaning steps to ensure thorough removal.
