GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Imtrade Halo 75 WG Herbicide is a dry flowable granule that disperses in water. It is designed for selective post-emergence control of Nutgrass in Sugarcane, Corn/Maize, and Sorghum. Additionally, it targets Nutgrass and Mullumbimby Couch in Turf and Nutgrass in Cotton using shielded sprayers.

Weed Control Symptoms:

  • Gradual yellowing of foliage and seed heads followed by desiccation.
  • Initial symptoms may take 7-10 days to be noticeable.
  • Full effects occur 4 to 6 weeks after treatment.

Application Guidelines:

  • Apply to actively growing weeds.
  • Nutgrass: New growth should be a minimum of 5cm.
  • Mullumbimby Couch: New growth should be a minimum of 2cm.
  • Apply follow-up treatments if needed.
  • Irrigation or rainfall within two hours of application reduces control.
  • Drought stress post-treatment may also reduce control.

MIXING:

  • Imtrade Halo 750 WG Herbicide is a dry flowable granule that disperses in water.
  • Add the measured amount gradually to a part-filled spray tank with continuous bypass agitation.
  • Add surfactant at the end of the filling process to avoid excessive foaming.
  • Remove the hose from the mixing tank immediately after filling.
  • Use the mixture within one day.

SPRAYER CLEANUP:

  1. Drain the tank and flush equipment with water for a minimum of 10 minutes.
  2. Fill the tank with clean water and add chlorine bleach (4% chlorine) at 300mL/100L. Flush through the boom for 15 minutes.
  3. Repeat the chlorine bleach step.
  4. Remove and clean nozzles and screens thoroughly.
  5. Rinse the tank and equipment with clean water to remove chlorine bleach traces.

CAUTION:

  • Do not use chlorine bleach with ammonia.
  • Rinse equipment if traces of liquid fertilizer with ammonia are present.

SURFACTANT ADDITION:

  • Imtrade Halo 750 WG Herbicide requires a non-ionic surfactant for uptake.
  • Use 200mL/100L of a 600g/L non-ionic surfactant or equivalent.
  • For handheld applications, add surfactant at 20mL/10L of water.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • Imtrade Halo 750 WG Herbicide belongs to the Sulfonylurea group and inhibits acetolactate synthase.
  • It is a Group B Herbicide, and resistant weed management is crucial.
  • Some weed biotypes may resist this herbicide, and its repeated use may lead to dominance.
  • Imtrade accepts no liability for losses due to herbicide failure against resistant weeds.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Compatible with Glyphosate, Dicamba/MCPA, Bromoxynil/MCPA mixtures, and amine formulations of 2,4-D.
  • Follow all label directions, restraints, and safety instructions for tank mix products.
  • Tank mixing with Paraquat or Ametryn may reduce weed control.
  • Organophosphate insecticides should not be mixed or applied 7 days prior or 3 days after Imtrade Halo 750 WG Herbicide application.

PROTECTION OF CROP, NATIVE, AND NON-TARGET PLANTS:

  • Avoid spraying non-target vegetation.
  • In turf, refrain from using clippings from treated areas for mulching around vegetables or fruit trees.
  • Do not apply under conditions causing spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION:

  • Prevent the first flush irrigation tailwater or stormwater run-off from treated land from entering waterways.
  • Do not irrigate to the point of run-off for at least 6 days after application.

PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK, WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, ENVIRONMENT:

  • Avoid contaminating dams, rivers, or streams.
