GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Insecticide Resistance Warning:
- Pacific Imidacloprid 200 SC Insecticide is a Group 4A Insecticide.
- Resistance management is crucial to prevent dominance of resistant insect populations.
- Some insect biotypes resistant to Pacific Imidacloprid 200 SC Insecticide may exist; Pacific Agriscience Pty Ltd is not liable for losses due to resistance.
Insecticide Resistance Management Strategy:
- Cotton Aphid in Cotton: Follow the cotton industry Insecticide Resistance Management Strategy (IRMS).
- Aphids, Whitefly, and Melon Thrips in Various Crops: Avoid consecutive sprays within and between seasons. Rotate with registered insecticides from other mode of action groups.
- Confined Environments (Glasshouses):
- Annuals: Apply no more than one spray of Pacific Imidacloprid 200 SC Insecticide to any one crop.
- Perennials: Rotate with registered insecticides from other groups; use a maximum of three sprays in any 12-month period.
MIXING/APPLICATION:
- Shake container vigorously before pouring; add Pacific Imidacloprid 200 SC Insecticide to water in the spray vat while stirring or with agitators in motion.
- Special Instructions for Stone Fruit:
- Dilute Spraying: Apply to the point of run-off, using a sprayer designed for high water volumes. Adjust sprayer settings as the crop grows.
- Concentrate Spraying: Set up for concentrate spraying, calculate the mixing rate based on dilute spray volume and chosen spray volume. Do not exceed the specified concentrate rate.
APPLICATION (Cotton):
- Thorough coverage is essential for maximum performance.
- Ground Application: Use hollow cone nozzles with a minimum spray volume of 100L/ha. Achieve a droplet VMD of 150-180 microns.
- Aerial Application: Apply in a minimum spray volume of 25L/ha with a droplet VMD of 120-150 microns. Avoid Ultra Low Volume (ULV) methods.
EXPORT OF TREATED PRODUCE:
- Check with Pacific Agriscience Pty Ltd for the latest information on MRLs and import tolerances before exporting produce treated with Pacific Imidacloprid 200 SC.
NOTE ON ORNAMENTALS:
- Some ornamental plant species may be sensitive to chemical sprays; test on a small number of plants before treating the entire crop.
COMPATIBILITY:
- Pacific Imidacloprid 200 SC Insecticide is compatible with propineb, bitertanol, or methamidophos. Mix concentrates separately and test mixtures before commercial use.
PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK:
- Dangerous to bees; do not spray plants in flower while bees are foraging.
- Do not graze treated areas, cut for stock food, or feed produce harvested from treated areas to animals, including poultry.
- Do not graze treated turf or feed turf clippings from treated areas to poultry or livestock.
PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:
- Avoid contaminating waterways and drains; use a spray-drift minimization strategy during aerial applications.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
- Store in closed, original containers in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
- Triple or pressure rinse containers before disposal; do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
- If recycling, return clean containers to a designated collection point. If not recycling, bury empty containers in an approved disposal pit.
- For refillable containers, return to the point of supply for refill or storage.
