GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- Read all instructions, precautionary statements, safety directions, and first aid instructions before opening.
- Apply to moist soil before weed emergence unless otherwise recommended.
- Ensure sufficient moisture (rain or irrigation) after application to move the chemical into the weed root zone.
- Add surfactant where recommended.
- Best results when spraying actively growing weeds.
- Clean all traces of the product from equipment immediately after use to avoid injury to desirable vegetation.
- Avoid contact with fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and seeds.
MIXING:
- Partly fill the spray tank with water and add the product steadily while agitating.
- Continue agitation after filling and during spraying.
- Use an efficient by-pass agitator or mechanical agitation.
COMPATIBILITY:
- Compatible with Imtrade Spraykill 250 Herbicide, Diquat, Imtrade Paraquat 250 Herbicide, Imtrade Amitrole 250 Herbicide, 2,4-D Amine and Ester, 2,4-DB, MCPA, Chlorpyrifos, Omethoate, and Chlorsulfuron.
- Add the product when the spray tank containing Diuron is nearly full and continually agitated.
- Not compatible with Tribunex*, Rogor*, Mataven*, Hoegrass*, and Bayleton*.
RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:
- Imtrade Diuron 900 WG Herbicide is a Group C Herbicide.
- Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to it and other Group C Herbicides may exist.
- Resistance can dominate the weed population if herbicides are used repeatedly.
- No liability accepted for losses resulting from the failure of Imtrade Diuron 900 WG Herbicide to control resistant weeds.
PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS:
- Cotton: Replanting restrictions - 2 years after the last spray, except for cotton, corn, or grain sorghum, which may be planted in the spring of the following year.
- Sugarcane: Treated areas can be replanted to sugarcane 1 year after the last spray.
- Avoid contact of sprays with crop foliage or fruit.
- Heavy rains after application may cause severe crop damage.
CROP SAFETY:
- Do not use on sandy or gravelly soils or soils low in organic matter.
- Avoid contact of sprays with crop foliage or fruit.
DRIFT WARNING:
- Do not apply under conditions or from equipment causing spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops or pasture.
PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK:
- Low hazard to bees.
- May be applied at any time as recommended in the Directions for Use.
PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:
- Dangerous to fish.
- Do not contaminate streams, rivers, or waterways with the chemical or used container.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
- Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight.
- Shake empty bag into the container.
- Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
- Puncture or shred and deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility.
- If no facility is available, bury empty packaging according to government regulations.
- Do not burn empty packaging and product.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS:
- Will irritate the eyes.
- Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
- Do not inhale dust or spray mist.
- Wear cotton overalls, a washable hat, and elbow-length PVC gloves during handling.
- Wash hands after use.
- Wash gloves and contaminated clothing after each day's use.
