General Instructions:

  • Insecticide Resistance Warning: Sinochem Intersect 200 SC Insecticide is classified as a Group 4A insecticide. There may be naturally occurring insect biotypes resistant to this and other Group 4A insecticides. To manage resistance, avoid consecutive sprays within and between seasons and rotate with insecticides from other mode of action groups.

  • Resistance Management Strategies:

    • Cotton Aphid in Cotton: Follow the cotton industry's Insecticide Resistance Management Strategy.

    • Aphids, Whitefly, and Melon Thrips in Various Crops: Rotate with insecticides from other groups; avoid consecutive sprays of Group 4A insecticides.

    • Confined Environments (Glasshouses):

      • Annuals: Limit to one spray per crop.

      • Perennials: Rotate with insecticides from other groups; use a maximum of three sprays per 12-month period.

Mixing/Application:

  • Prior to Mixing: Shake container vigorously before use.

  • Stone Fruit Special Instructions:

    • Dilute Spraying: Use high-volume sprayers; apply water to point of run-off.

    • Concentrate Spraying: Use concentrate spraying equipment; calculate mixing rate based on dilute spray volume.

  • Application (Cotton):

    • Ground Application: Use hollow cone nozzles with minimum spray volume of 100L/ha; maintain droplet VMD of 150-180 microns.

    • Aerial Application: Apply in minimum spray volume of 25L/ha; maintain droplet VMD of 120-150 microns; avoid ULV methods.

Export of Treated Produce:

  • Check with Sinochem Agro Co Ltd for MRLs and import tolerances before exporting produce treated with Sinochem Intersect 200 SC Insecticide.

Note on Ornamentals:

  • Some ornamental species may be sensitive to chemical sprays; test on a small number of plants before treating the entire crop.

Compatibility:

  • Compatible with propineb, bitertanol, or methamidophos. Do not mix concentrates together; test all mixtures prior to use.

Protection of Livestock and Environment:

  • Dangerous to bees; do not spray plants in flower while bees are foraging. Do not graze or feed treated areas to animals. Avoid contamination of streams, rivers, and waterways.

Storage & Disposal:

  • Store in closed, original containers in a cool, well-ventilated area. Triple rinse containers before disposal; do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. Follow approved waste disposal regulations.
