GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING: Farmalinx IsoxaKing 750 WG Herbicide, a member of the isoxazole group, is a Group H herbicide that inhibits 4-hydroxyphenyl-pyruvate dioxygenase (4-HPPD). Weed biotypes resistant to IsoxaKing 750 WG and other Group H herbicides may exist, and repeated use can lead to the dominance of resistant weeds. IsoxaKing 750 WG may not control resistant weeds, and Farmalinx Pty. Ltd. accepts no liability for losses due to failure.

CROP SAFETY - Chickpeas:

  • Application to chickpeas in sandy or gravely soils may cause crop damage, especially after heavy rains.
  • IsoxaKing 750 WG + simazine in sandy or gravely soils may result in severe crop damage.
  • Not recommended for Yorker variety chickpeas, as it may cause unacceptable damage and yield loss.

CROP ROTATION RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • IsoxaKing 750 WG may be applied to chickpeas or fallow land.
  • Prolonged dry periods or cold conditions may extend recropping intervals.
  • Heavy rainfall after an extended dry period may reactivate IsoxaKing 750 WG, causing transient bleaching or stunting.
  • Use on soils with pH less than 7.0 may result in extended recropping intervals.
  • Cultivation is recommended before recropping.
  • Minimum recropping intervals apply for all crops following IsoxaKing 750 WG application.

APPLICATION:

  • Partially fill the spray tank with water and start agitation.
  • Add IsoxaKing 750 WG with the agitation system running.
  • When tank-mixing with paraquat, add IsoxaKing 750 WG first, followed by paraquat for thorough mixing.
  • Continue agitation while topping up the tank with water and during spraying.
  • Use the prepared spray mixture on the day of preparation, and do not allow it to stand overnight.

APPLICATION (continued):

  • For tank mixtures with glyphosate, use clean water free of clay, silt, and algae.
  • IsoxaKing 750 WG can be applied to hot and dry soils without immediate soil incorporation.
  • Activated by rainfall or irrigation, carrying the herbicide into the root zone of germinating weeds.
  • Deep germinating weeds may not be controlled in low rainfall years (<15 mm).
  • Weed escapes may occur if the chemical is not activated or carried to the depth of the weed root zone.
  • In prolonged dry conditions, more rainfall or irrigation may be needed for effective activation.
  • To avoid weed escapes, allow weeds to germinate, then apply IsoxaKing 750 WG in tank mixture with paraquat for additional weed knockdown.
