GROUP 3 FUNGICIDE

For the control of certain fungal diseases on wheat, barley and canola when mixed with fertiliser or applied as a foliar spray as per Directions for Use table.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: ALL STATES
A. JUBILEE 500 APPLIED IN-FURROW AS A FERTILISER TREATMENT

CANOLA
Disease:
Blackleg (Leptosphaeria maculans)
Rate / ha: 200 mL
WHP: 4 weeks Grazing
Critical comments: Treatment will reduce blackleg infection in both susceptible and tolerant canola varieties.
Application: Spray undiluted product evenly onto granulated fertiliser and immediately mix thoroughly in a mechanical mixer or auger. Apply at a rate which will deposit 200 mL of the product on the quantity of fertiliser required to be sown in furrow per hectare, using the table below as a guide.
Fertiliser rate per hectare (kg): 60
Volume of product per 100kg of fertiliser (mL)†: 333

Fertiliser rate per hectare (kg): 70
Volume of product per 100kg of fertiliser (mL)†: 286

Fertiliser rate per hectare (kg): 80
Volume of product per 100kg of fertiliser (mL)†: 250

Fertiliser rate per hectare (kg): 100
Volume of product per 100kg of fertiliser (mL)†: 200

Fertiliser rate per hectare (kg): 120
Volume of product per 100kg of fertiliser (mL)†: 167

WHEAT
Disease:
Stripe Rust (Puccinia striiformis)
Rate / ha: 100 or 200 mL
WHP: 4 weeks Grazing

Disease: Septoria Tritici Blotch (Septoria tritici), Take-all (Geaumannomyces graminis)
Rate / ha: 200 mL
WHP: 4 weeks Grazing

BARLEY
Disease:
Powdery Mildew (Erysiphe graminis), Scald (Rhynchosporium secalis)
Rate / ha: 100 or 200 mL
WHP: 4 weeks Grazing

Critical comments: For the control of Stripe Rust of wheat and control of Powdery Mildew and Scald of barley, use the high rate where conditions conducive to severe disease are expected. Where the Wheat variety may be susceptible to Stripe rust and depending on paddock history, a decision should be made to determine the suitable rate of application. These applications will allow control of stripe rust for up to 105 days after sowing.
Application: Spray product evenly onto granulated fertiliser and immediately mix thoroughly in a mechanical mixer or auger. Apply at a rate which will deposit the specific rate of the product on the quantity of fertiliser required to be sown in-furrow per hectare, using the table below as a guide.
Fertiliser rate per hectare (kg): 50
Volume of product per 100 kg of fertiliser (mL)†:
100 mL rate: 200
200 mL rate: 400

Fertiliser rate per hectare (kg): 60
Volume of product per 100 kg of fertiliser (mL)†:
100 mL rate: 167
200 mL rate: 333

Fertiliser rate per hectare (kg): 70
Volume of product per 100 kg of fertiliser (mL)†:
100 mL rate: 143
200 mL rate: 286

Fertiliser rate per hectare (kg): 80
Volume of product per 100 kg of fertiliser (mL)†:
100 mL rate: 125
200 mL rate: 250

Fertiliser rate per hectare (kg): 100
Volume of product per 100 kg of fertiliser (mL)†:
100 mL rate: 100
200 mL rate: 200

Fertiliser rate per hectare (kg): 120
Volume of product per 100 kg of fertiliser (mL)†:
100 mL rate: 84
200 mL rate: 167
† Where application volume is below 250 mL per 100 kg of fertiliser, product may be diluted with water to improve coverage.

B. JUBILEE 500 APPLIED AS A FOLIAR SPRAY

WHEAT
Disease:
Stripe Rust (Puccinia striiformis)
Rate / ha: 125-250 mL
Ground Application Apply in 100-150 L water plus 200 mL Wetspray 1000 per 100 L of spray solution.
Aerial Application Apply in a minimum of 15 L water plus 200 mL Wetspray 1000 per 100 L of spray solution.
WHP: 7 weeks Harvest or Grazing
Critical comments: Apply when stripe rust appears and before disease reaches 1% of leaf area. The high rate of application gives a longer period of protection than the low rate. In crops with high yield potential, and where conditions favourable to severe disease persist, use a single application at the higher rate, or two applications 3-4 weeks apart at the low rate.

Disease: Leaf Rust (P. recondita), Septoria Nodorum Blotch (Septoria nodorum), Septoria Tritici Blotch (S. tritici)
Rate / ha: 125-250 mL
Ground Application Apply in 100-150 L water plus 200 mL Wetspray 1000 per 100 L of spray solution.
Aerial Application Apply in a minimum of 15 L water plus 200 mL Wetspray 1000 per 100 L of spray solution.
WHP: 7 weeks Harvest or Grazing
Critical comments: Apply after flag leaves have begun to emerge and before disease reaches 1% of flag leaf area. The high rate of application gives a longer period of protection than the low rate. In crops with high yield potential, and where conditions favourable to severe diseases persist during flowering, use a single application at the higher rate, or two applications 3-4 weeks apart at the low rate.

BARLEY
Disease:
Powdery Mildew (Erysiphe graminis)
Rate / ha: 125-250 mL
Ground Application Apply in 100-150 L water plus 200 mL Wetspray 1000 per 100 L of spray solution.
Aerial Application Apply in a minimum of 15 L water plus 200 mL Wetspray 1000 per 100 L of spray solution.
WHP: 10 weeks Harvest or Grazing
Critical comments: Apply when powdery mildew first appears. The high rate of application gives a longer period of protection than the low rate. Where conditions favourable to severe disease persist, a single application at the higher rate, or two applications 3-4 weeks apart at the low rate.

NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE OR IN ANY MANNER CONTRARY TO THIS LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED UNDER APPROPRIATE LEGISLATION.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Fertiliser Application
Ensure that treated fertiliser is dry before sowing with the crop.
Sowing: Treated fertiliser should be sown in the same furrow as the seed, not broadcast. Note that the flow rate of fertiliser may be changed after treatment, and the seeder should be calibrated with the treated material to ensure that the correct rates of fertiliser and fungicide are delivered.
Do not mix seed with treated fertiliser.
Foliar Application: Check the crop carefully and regularly. Spray only if there is sufficient time in the season for the rust to develop to a level on the variety in question when it will cause significant yield loss.
Aerial Application: Aerial application must be carried out with closed mixing/loading.

FUNGICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING
JUBILEE 500 Fungicide is a member of the DMI group of fungicides. For fungicide resistance management JUBILEE 500 is a Group 3 fungicide. Some naturally occurring individual fungi resistant to JUBILEE 500 and other Group 3 fungicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any fungal population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the fungi population if these fungicides are used repeatedly. These resistant fungi will not be controlled by JUBILEE 500 or other Group 3 fungicides, thus resulting in a reduction in efficacy and possible yield loss.
Since the occurrence of resistant fungi is difficult to predict prior to use, Adama Australia Pty. Ltd. accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of JUBILEE 500 to control resistant fungi.
Resistance should not be assumed without first reviewing the method of application, the coverage and the timing of application.
