GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

MIXING:

  • Half fill the spray tank with water, add Ken-Trel, and complete filling. Agitate continuously for thorough mixing before and during application.
  • Only mix sufficient chemical for each day's work.
  • For tank mixtures, add wettable powder or dry flowable formulations first, followed by suspension concentrates, aqueous concentrates (Ken-Trel), and emulsifiable concentrate formulations.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Ken-Trel is compatible with various broadleaf and grass herbicides, including Fluroken 333, Ken-Met 600, Bromoxynil 200, Ken-Chlor 750 WDG, Diuron 900 WG, Ken-Up, MCPA 750, 570 LV MCPA, Para-ken 250 and 334, Speedy 250, terbutryn, Ken-Amine 625.
  • For grass herbicides, it is compatible with Haloxyken 520 Herbicide.

APPLICATION - BOOM SPRAYING CROP AND PASTURES:

  • Apply Ken-Trel with good coverage using an accurately calibrated ground rig or aircraft.
  • Ground Application: Deliver 200 to 300 micron droplets with not less than 50L/ha water volume for boom sprayers.
  • Aerial Application: Use not less than 20L/ha water volume.
  • Adjust spray volumes for specific weeds like hardhead thistle or silver wattle.

HIGH VOLUME HAND GUN:

  • Apply the recommended mix for full coverage of leaves and stems through a No.6-8 tip at 700 to 1500 kPa.
  • Adjust spray volume based on the density of the infestation.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT:

  • Rinse water should be discharged onto a designated disposal area or unused land away from desirable plants and water courses.
  • Partial Cleaning: Rinse and circulate with clean water twice. Thoroughly wash inside the tank.
  • Complete Cleaning: Rinse, circulate with liquid alkali detergent, drain, and clean filters and nozzles separately.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • Ken-Trel 300 Herbicide is a Group I herbicide with a disrupter of plant cell growth mode of action.
  • Weed resistance management is crucial, and resistant weeds may not be controlled by this herbicide.
  • Strategies to minimize resistance are available; consult local authorities for guidance.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE, AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS:

  • Do not apply to crops or pastures used for compost or mulches with susceptible crops.
  • Avoid spray drift onto susceptible crops.
  • Follow specific plant back periods for susceptible crops listed in the instructions.

PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK:

  • Do not graze or cut treated crops for stock food except as specified under WITHHOLDING PERIODS.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ken-Trel 300 has low toxicity to various organisms.
  • Avoid contamination of streams, rivers, or waterways.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
  • Triple-rinse containers before disposal and follow recycling guidelines.
  • Dispose of empty packaging in an approved waste management facility or bury in compliance with regulations. Do not burn empty containers or product.
