GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

MIXING:

  1. Measure the required quantity of Ken-Trel 750 SG granules using scales.
  2. The granules are highly soluble and dissolve rapidly in fast-moving water.
  3. Maintain agitation at all times during mixing and spraying.

SPRAY RIGS THAT TOPFILL:

  • Quarter fill the tank, add Ken-Trel 750 SG one bag at a time while filling, directing water onto the soluble bags.

SPRAY RIGS WITH PREMIX HOPPERS:

  • Three-quarter fill the hopper with water, add Ken-Trel 750 SG, transfer the dissolved mix into the main tank, and rinse the hopper.

SPRAY RIGS WITH LIMITED BYPASS AGITATION:

  • Predissolve Ken-Trel 750 SG in a bucket before adding to the main tank. Add while stirring until granules dissolve.

TANK-MIXES:

  1. Quarter fill the spray tank with agitation.
  2. Add Ken-Trel 750 SG.
  3. Add other components in a specific order as outlined.
  4. Only mix enough solution for immediate use.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Ken-Trel 750 SG is compatible with various broadleaf and grass herbicides, adjuvants, and oils/wetters. Follow specific instructions for tank-mixes.

APPLICATION - BOOM SPRAYING CROP AND PASTURES:

  • Apply with an accurately calibrated ground rig or aircraft, delivering 200 to 300 micron droplets.
  • Ground Application: Not less than 50 L/ha water volume for boom sprayers.
  • Aerial Application: Not less than 20 L/ha water volume.
  • Adjust spray volumes for specific weeds like hardhead thistle or silver wattle.

HIGH VOLUME HAND GUN:

STEM INJECTION:

  • Use a ¾ length axe to create an injection pocket at waist height.
  • Apply chemical immediately with a calibrated vaccinator.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT:

  • Rinse water should be discharged to a designated disposal area.
  • Partial Cleaning: Rinse and circulate with clean water twice.
  • Complete Cleaning: Rinse, circulate with alkali detergent, drain, clean filters and nozzles separately.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • Ken-Trel 750 SG is a Group I herbicide with a disrupter of plant cell growth mode of action.
  • Weed resistance management is crucial, and resistant weeds may not be controlled by this herbicide.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE, AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS:

  • Avoid spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants, crops, or pastures.
  • Susceptible crops include chickpeas, cotton, faba beans, field peas, fruit trees, lentils, lupins, lucerne, medics, ornamentals, potatoes, safflower, sub-clover, tomatoes, vegetables, grape and kiwifruit vines, wattles, and white clover.
