GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - GENFARM MANCOZEB WG 750 FUNGICIDE
Before Use:
- Read and understand the Directions for Use, Precautionary Statements, Safety Directions, and First Aid instructions.
Product Overview:
- Genfarm Mancozeb WG 750 is a protectant fungicide for controlling certain fungus diseases in various crops.
- Best results are achieved when applied thoroughly in a regular spray program.
Warning for Bananas:
- Under specific conditions, recently emerged fruit may be prone to marking damage from spray applications with petroleum spray oil.
- In such cases, it is recommended to bag bunches before spraying to minimize the risk of fruit marking.
Mixing:
- Partly fill the spray tank with water and add the product slowly with continuous agitation.
- Ensure uniform spray mixture and prevent product settling. Rinse out spray tank pumps and nozzles at the end of the day.
- Additional additives like insecticides, fungicides, or surfactants should be added after product suspension.
Adjuvants:
- The use of Spraymate Bond Adjuvant is recommended to improve spray deposition and rainfastness.
Application:
- Apply as a high-volume dilute spray or concentrate spray based on the crop and equipment used.
- Adjust spray equipment for even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
- Dilute Spraying: Ensure thorough coverage, adjusting volumes based on crop type and growth stage.
- Concentrate Spraying: Follow specific guidelines for concentrate spraying, considering dilute spray volume and mixing rates.
Spray Timing:
- Apply treatments when weather conditions favor disease outbreak and continue until the threat has passed.
- Repeated applications are necessary, especially when conditions favor disease development.
Compatibility:
- Harmful to Typhlodromus pyri and should not be used in orchards with integrated control methods.
- Most commonly used agricultural fungicides and insecticides are compatible, but reference other manufacturers' recommendations for tank mixes.
- For bananas, conduct a jar test with foliar fertilizers to check physical compatibility, as they can cause damage.
Note: Always follow the full product label and Directions for Use provided by the manufacturer. Users are responsible for the performance of mixtures with Genfarm Mancozeb WG 750.
