GENFARM MARAUDER 480 SC SELECTIVE HERBICIDE - GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Product Overview:

  • Genfarm Marauder 480 SC Selective Herbicide effectively targets a range of broadleaved weeds and some grasses.
  • Absorbed by roots, shoots, and leaves, it can be applied pre or post-emergence depending on the crop's tolerance.

Crop Safety:

  • Avoid using Genfarm Marauder 480 SC on recently introduced varieties unless their tolerance is confirmed under local climatic conditions.
  • Caution: Other herbicides or crop oils on broadleaf crops treated with Genfarm Marauder 480 SC may cause severe damage.

Pre-emergence:

  • Apply to moist soil without clods or residues.
  • Delay spraying on loose soils until a settling rain occurs.
  • Rain or irrigation post-application is essential for activation.

Post-emergence:

  • Controls young, actively growing emerged weeds through leaf uptake.
  • Rain or irrigation after spraying is needed for subsequent pre-emergence control.
  • Crops may show slight chlorosis or necrosis, with enhanced tolerance after two sunny days.

Resistance Warning:

  • Genfarm Marauder 480 SC is a Group C herbicide (Triazinones - Inhibitors of photosynthesis at photosystem II).
  • Resistant weed populations may dominate if herbicides are repeatedly used.
  • No liability is accepted for losses resulting from the failure of the product to control resistant weeds.

Compatibility:

  • Compatible with Nitofol® on potatoes, le-Mat® on peas, and the herbicides trifluralin and diflufenican.
  • Add concentrates separately to the spray tank; do not mix them together.
  • Users are responsible for the behavior of mixtures due to changing climatic conditions.

Protection Measures:

  • Prevent spray drift onto sensitive plants.
  • Keep away from fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and seeds.
  • Clean application equipment thoroughly after use.
  • Allow at least 6 months between application and sowing sensitive crops.

Environmental Protection:

  • Avoid contaminating streams, rivers, or waterways.
  • Do not burn empty containers or product.

Storage and Disposal:

  • Store in a closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
  • Triple or pressure rinse containers before disposal.
  • Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
  • Follow recommended recycling or disposal methods.

Safety Directions:
