GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Product Overview: The product is a short residual pre-emergent herbicide designed for controlling many annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in specified crops. It relies on shoot (coleoptile) absorption and requires rainfall or irrigation to move it into the top 3-4cm of soil, where it needs to be present during weed germination.

Application:

  • Ground Application: Apply in a minimum of 60 L/ha of water. Do not apply by aircraft.

Mixing:

  • Add Bouncer 960S to the spray tank while filling it with water. Good agitation during this process ensures proper mixing.
  • When tank-mixing, add wettable powder or water dispersible granule formulations first, followed by suspension concentrates, water-soluble salts, and then Bouncer 960S. Maintain thorough agitation during mixing and application.
  • Tank mix spray solution should not be left standing in the vat overnight.

Crop Replanting Interval:

  • Do not plant crops other than specified ones within six months of applying Bouncer 960S.

Warnings:

  • For Cotton: Do not use when planting into dry soil or soil with marginal moisture. Heavy rain or flood irrigation soon after planting under dry conditions may cause crop injury.
  • For Brassica crops: Crop retardation may occur on soils with low organic matter and more than 60% fine sand and silt. Apply lower rates on these soil types and limit irrigation after application.

Zero-tillage (Canola, Barley, Oats, Wheat, Triticale):

  • When using knife points and zero tillage, do not apply post-seeding unless harrows (or similar) have filled in the seeding slot before application. Alternatively, apply Bouncer 960S immediately before sowing.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • Bouncer 960S belongs to Group K herbicides. Some naturally-occurring weed biotypes resistant to Group K herbicides may exist. Continuous use may lead to resistant weeds. Nufarm accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of Bouncer 960S to control resistant weeds.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Bouncer 960S is compatible with various herbicides, including Atradex, Avadex Xtra, Basagran, Diurex, Flowable Gesaprim, Gesaprim Granules 900WG, Logran, Revolver, Shirquat, TriflurX, Weedmaster DST, and Weedmaster Argo.

PRECAUTIONS:

  • Re-entry Period: Do not enter treated areas without protective clothing until the spray has dried.
  • Protection of Crops and Environment: Avoid drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, pastures, or adjacent fallow land.
  • Protection of Livestock: Do not graze or cut Sweet potato leaves for stock food.
  • Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment: Toxic to fish. Do not contaminate waterways. Avoid spraying wetlands, water bodies, or watercourses.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight.
  • Non-refillable Containers: Triple-rinse before disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. Follow approved waste disposal methods.
  • Refillable Containers: Empty contents fully into application equipment. Return to the point of supply for refill or storage.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

  • Will damage the eyes. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Repeated exposure may cause allergic disorders. Sensitive workers should use protective clothing.
  • When handling the product, wear cotton overalls, a washable hat, elbow-length PVC gloves, and goggles.
  • When using the prepared spray, wear the mentioned protective clothing and a face shield or goggles.
  • In case of contact with eyes, wash immediately with water. After use, wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly with soap and water. Wash gloves and contaminated clothing after each day’s use.
