GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Before Use:
- Read Directions for Use, Precautionary and Protection Statements, Storage and Disposal, Safety Directions, and First Aid Instructions carefully.
- Use only at recommended growth stages of crops and weeds.
- Do not use on crops other than those recommended.
Mixing Information:
- Half-fill the spray tank with clean water.
- Add the required amount of the product, agitate thoroughly.
- Add the remainder of water and agitate again before spraying.
Boom Sprayer Application:
- Use low boom equipment for good coverage within the crop canopy.
- Use coarse spray quality per ASAE S572 definition for standard nozzles.
- Apply 50 - 200 L (WA: 50 - 100 L) of water per hectare.
- Calibrate the machine to ensure correct application rate.
- Check boom height for even distribution.
- Use a minimum of 160 L and preferably 200 L of water per hectare for heavy weed infestation or dense crop cover.
High Volume (Hand Gun) and Knapsack Application:
- Thoroughly wet plants, including stems, to the point of runoff.
- Apply when plants are actively growing.
- A follow-up treatment may be necessary.
Aerial Application:
- Apply a minimum of 22 L of water per hectare.
- Markers should move upwind before the aircraft passes overhead.
- Micronaire equipment may provide variable results.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Wash equipment thoroughly after use and rinse before re-use.
- If using tank mixes with other products, apply with equipment not used in susceptible crops.
RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:
- Nufarm Bromoxynil 200 is a Group 6 herbicide.
- Resistant weed biotypes may exist; continuous use may lead to resistant weeds.
- Nufarm Australia Limited accepts no liability for failures in controlling resistant weeds.
COMPATIBILITY:
- May be mixed with specific herbicides or insecticides in wheat and barley only.
- Compatibility with other products should be tested before mixing commercial quantities.
PRECAUTIONS:
- Re-entry period: Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried.
- Wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist and chemical-resistant gloves.
- Launder clothing after each day's use.
Protection of Crops, Non-Target Plants, and Livestock:
- Do not apply under conditions causing spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops.
- Drift warning: Be cautious of drift under certain weather conditions.
- Application in temperatures at or above 20°C may result in seedling mortality or plant damage.
Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:
- Dangerous to fish; do not contaminate watercourses with the chemical or used containers.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
- Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area, protected from frost.
- Non-refillable containers: Triple-rinse before disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. Recycle or deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility.
- Returnable containers: Empty contents fully into application equipment. Close all valves and return to the point of supply for refill or storage.
