GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

MIXING:

• Add the required amount of Nufarm Digger directly to the spray tank and mix well.

APPLICATION:

• Thorough coverage is crucial for effective results.
• For aerial application, use 20-30L water/ha. For ground application, use at least 100L water/ha.
• Macadamia nuts: Apply by high volume (dilute) sprayer or concentrate sprayer.

DILUTE SPRAYING:

• Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes up to the point of run-off.
• Set up and operate the sprayer for even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
• Apply water to cover the crop to the point of run-off, adjusting volume as the crop grows.
• Add the specified amount of product per 100L of water and spray to the point of run-off.

CONCENTRATE SPRAYING:

• Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying (lower water volumes than run-off).
• Set up for even coverage in the crop canopy with the chosen water volume.
• Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume to calculate the concentrate mixing rate.
• Calculate concentrate rate using the concentration factor (dilute spray volume ÷ concentrate spray volume).
• Adjust spray volume, product amount per 100L, and sprayer setup as the crop grows.
• Consult industry guidelines, undertake training, and follow Best Practices for concentrate spraying.

RESISTANCE WARNING:

• Group 3 Fungicide: Nufarm Digger is a Group 3 fungicide (DMI group).
• Fungicide resistance may occur with repeated use. No liability for losses from resistance.

PRECAUTIONS:

• Re-entry Period: Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried unless wearing protective clothing (cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist, butyl rubber gloves).

PROTECTIONS:

• Livestock: Low hazard to bees; can be applied to plants any time.
• Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment: Dangerous to aquatic organisms. Do not spray within 5m downwind of water bodies. Avoid drift onto adjacent areas, especially wetlands. Do not contaminate dams, waterways, or drains.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

• Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from prolonged sunlight.
• Triple rinse containers before disposal; add rinsings to the spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
• For recycling, return clean containers to a recycler. For non-recycling, puncture and deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility.
• If no facility is available, bury empty packaging 500mm below the surface in a disposal pit marked for this purpose, complying with relevant regulations. Do not burn empty containers or product.
