Kenso Agcare NUGGET DRY 680 WG Herbicide - General Information

Product Description:

  • Non-volatile, water-soluble herbicide.
  • Non-selective activity against annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and grasses.

Usage:

  • Suitable for weed control on agricultural land before planting any edible or non-edible crops (except transplanting tomatoes).
  • Herbicide is absorbed by plant foliage and stems.

Residual Control:

  • Inactivated immediately in the soil.
  • No residual weed control.

Mode of Action:

  • Moves throughout the plant from contact to the root system.
  • Visible effects on annual weeds in 3-7 days, while perennial weeds may take 2-3 weeks or longer.
  • Effects delayed by cool or cloudy weather.

Weed Type and Growth Stage:

  • Controls emerged weeds only.
  • Apply to weeds with at least one true leaf (broadleaf) or two leaves (grasses).

Resistant Weeds Warning:

  • Group M herbicide (inhibitors of EPSP synthase).
  • Resistance management crucial; repeated use may lead to resistant weed dominance.

Crop Establishment:

  • Recommended for emerged weed control before crop establishment.
  • Suitable cultivation and sowing operations required for a satisfactory seedbed.
  • Delay sowing in heavy weed growth areas until decay allows a suitable seedbed.

Mixing Instructions:

  • Boom application: Use water volume not less than 6 liters per 1 kg of herbicide.
  • Do not mix, store, or apply in galvanized steel or unlined steel containers, as it may form a highly flammable gas.
  • Use specified materials: stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, fiberglass, plastic.

Surfactant Addition:

  • Surfactant not required unless the herbicide rate is less than 6g/L when applied by boom.
  • Recommended surfactant: Turbo® Plus at 100mL per 100L water.

Application Under Summer Conditions:

  • Increase water volume and droplet size in high temperatures.
  • Avoid aircraft application when temperature exceeds 30°C.

Drift Prevention:

  • Avoid spraying in conditions conducive to drift.
  • Adjust equipment settings to prevent fine droplets and consider wind, inversion conditions, and air temperature.

Protection of Crops and Environment:

  • Avoid contact with desirable plants, trees, and crops to prevent injury.
  • Do not spray in conditions that may cause drift onto susceptible areas.
  • Prevent contamination of dams, rivers, or streams.

Storage and Disposal:

  • Store in the original container in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight.
  • Single rinse before disposal; bury empty bags in a landfill or disposal pit.

Safety Directions:

  • Harmful if swallowed; irritating to eyes and skin.
  • Use protective gear during preparation.
  • Wash thoroughly after use and avoid eating, drinking, or smoking before washing.
