GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - Para-Ken 250 Herbicide

Resistant Weeds Warning:

• Para-Ken 250 belongs to the bipyridyls group with photosystem I inhibitor mode of action.
• Group L herbicide for weed resistance management.
• Resistance may occur in weed populations with repeated use.
• Kenso Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd is not liable for losses due to Para-Ken 250's failure against resistant weeds.

Product Use:

• Designed to kill annual grasses and most broadleaf weeds (excluding capeweed) in specified situations.
• Application limited to designated purposes.
• Kills green plant tissue on contact and is immediately inactivated in the soil.

Selective Weed Control Principle:

• Annual weeds are killed, allowing desirable perennial species to recover.
• Long-term control achieved with soil residual chemicals combined with quick knockdown from Para-Ken 250.

Application:

1. Spray Equipment: Do not use hand-held ultra-low volume controlled droplet applicators, boomless jets, or misting machines.
2. Mixing: Add product to water in the spray tank and agitate for even mixing.
3. Wetting Agent: Contains a wetting agent; additional wetter only required under specific conditions.
4. Clean Water: Mix with clean water; saline water, bore water, or water from various sources may be used if clean.
5. Spraying Conditions: Avoid application during plant stress or covered with dust. Dull weather or end-of-day application recommended.

Compatibility:

• Combines well with soil active herbicides like Atradex WG, Diurex WG, and Simagranz WG.
• Compatible with various herbicides including Agral, Ken-Wett 1000, Reglone, Spray.Seed 250, Banvel 200, Banvel M, MCPA Amine, Ken-Chlor 750, Yield, Avadex, Treflan, and Spark.

Spraying Conditions:

• Avoid spraying stressed plants or under dusty conditions.
• Better results in dull weather or at the end of the day.
• Light rain following spraying will not affect results.
• Avoid drift into neighboring crops.

Protection Measures:

• DO NOT apply under conditions causing spray drift onto susceptible plants/crops or water bodies.
• Avoid application on or near water used for irrigation, livestock watering, or human consumption.

Protection of Livestock:

• Keep domestic pets and poultry away from treated areas.
• Avoid application on or near water used for livestock watering.

Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment:

• DO NOT contaminate water bodies with the chemical or used containers.
• Avoid application on or near water used for human consumption, livestock watering, or fishing.

Storage and Disposal:

• Store in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs, seed, and fertilizers.
• Triple rinse containers before disposal; do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
• Dispose of empty containers in a landfill or designated collection point.
• Follow specific instructions for Mini Bulk Returnable Container (110L) and Refillable containers (1000L).
