GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - Para-Ken 334 Herbicide

Equipment Use Restrictions: Avoid hand-held ultra-low volume controlled droplet applicators (CDA units), boomless jets, or misting machines.

Mixing: Add the required product quantity to water in the spray tank. Agitate for even mixing; agitate again if left standing.

Wetting Agent: Contains a wetting agent; additional wetter unnecessary unless high volume spraying causes excessive dilution. Add wetter if the product rates fall below 300 mL per 100 L of spray.

Clean Water: Mix with clean water free from clay, silt, and algae. Acceptable water sources include saline water, water collected from roofs, bore water, dam water, and water from creeks.

Application: Cereals and Broadacre Spraying: Use calibrated boom spray with flat fan jets. Adjust to give double overlap of spray at the top of the weeds. Follow specific spray volumes based on weed height and density. High Volume Application: Higher volumes may be required for good coverage in situations other than specified under cereals and broadacre crops. Equipment Cleaning: Wash spray equipment with clean water immediately after use. Product is highly corrosive to metals, especially galvanized iron and aluminum. Compatibility: Combines well with various herbicides for prolonged weed control and quick knockdown.

Spraying Conditions: Avoid spraying stressed plants, especially under waterlogging, frost, or drought conditions. Better results in dull weather or at the end of the day. Light rain following spraying will not affect results. Avoid drift into neighboring crops.

Resistant Weeds Warning: Para-Ken 334 belongs to the bipyridyls group with photosystem I inhibitor mode of action. Group L herbicide for weed resistance management. Resistant weed occurrence is challenging to detect before use. Kenso Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd is not liable for losses due to Para-Ken 334's failure against resistant weeds.

Selective Weed Control Principle: Kills annual grasses and most broadleaf weeds in specified situations. Selective weed control allows desirable perennial species to recover. Moisture and fertility should not be limiting during spraying.

Protection Measures: Crops and Non-Target Plants: DO NOT apply under conditions causing drift onto susceptible plants/crops. Avoid application on or near water used for irrigation. Livestock: Keep domestic pets and poultry away from treated areas. Avoid application on or near water used for livestock watering. Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment: DO NOT contaminate water bodies with the chemical or used containers. Avoid application on or near water used for human consumption, livestock watering, or fishing.

Storage and Disposal: Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated locked room. Triple rinse containers before disposal; do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site. For recycling, return clean containers to a recycler or designated collection point. If not recycling, deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility or bury it 500 mm below the surface in a disposal pit. Do not burn empty containers or product.
