GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - Pendi 330 Herbicide

Selective Herbicide Use:

Pendi 330 is designed for selective control of most annual grasses and certain broadleaf weeds. It inhibits seedling development and does not control established weeds.

Seedbed Preparation:

For optimal results, ensure seedbeds are free of weeds, trash, and clods at the time of application. Soils with over 6% organic matter may result in poor control; it's advisable to avoid such soils.

Crop Recovery and Staining Warning:

Crop injury may occur in cold, wet weather following planting or on poorly prepared seedbeds. However, crops typically recover with the return of favorable conditions. Pendi 330 will stain any objects it contacts, so keep non-target items clear of the product and spray.

Mixing Instructions:

When using Pendi 330 alone, add it to a partially filled tank with water and mix thoroughly.

Tank Mixes:

For tank mixes with atrazine, diuron, paraquat, glyphosate, or others, follow the relevant label instructions. Add Pendi 330 last, and maintain agitation until spraying is completed.

Ground Application:

Use conventional sprayers with flat fan nozzles. Ensure proper calibration for accurate application. Apply in 50-200 Litres of water per hectare, adjusting rates based on weed height and density.

Aerial Application:

Applicable for pre-plant soybeans, cotton, sunflowers, peanuts, navy beans, cowpeas, mung beans, pigeon peas, and post-plant, post-flushed combine-sown rice. Apply in 25-60 Litres of water per hectare, ensuring correct calibration, even spray pattern, and proper flying conditions.

Incorporation:

Thoroughly mix Pendi 330 with soil through mechanical means, irrigation, or rainfall for optimal effectiveness. Incorporation aims to create an even herbicide band to intercept germinating weed seeds.

Crop Tolerance and Sowing Interval:

Certain crops tolerate Pendi 330, but contact with seeds of maize, carrots, and rice should be avoided. Crops like carrots, parsnips, potatoes, peas, and others have specific sowing intervals after Pendi 330 application.

Weather Considerations:

Crop injury may result from cold weather after planting, but crops usually recover with improved conditions. Cold, wet conditions during germination and emergence in cereals can affect coleoptile length and reduce emergence.

Compatibility:

Pendi 330 is compatible with various herbicides, including atrazine, diuron, simazine, glyphosate, and others. Follow mixing directions for compatibility.

Following Crops:

Cultivate the soil to a minimum depth of 15 cm in case of crop failure to evenly disperse residues. Replanting maize the same year is possible if seeding depth is below the treated area. Different crops have specific minimum intervals for sowing after Pendi 330 application.

Note: Always refer to the specific product label for detailed and updated instructions.
