GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Timing of Application: Spray when weeds are young and actively growing, typically before the 3 - 5 true leaf stage unless stated otherwise.

MIXING: Add the required amount of the product directly to the tank and mix well.

APPLICATION:

Boom Application: Use a properly calibrated boom sprayer with not less than 50 liters of water per hectare unless specified otherwise.

Aerial Application: Apply at least 25 liters of total spray volume per hectare. Fly as low as practical under prevailing conditions to minimize drift.

High Volume Application: Apply a minimum of 1500 liters per hectare.

Knapsack Application: Treats 150 square meters with a 15-liter knapsack.

Mimosa Control:

  • Broadacre application: Apply 2 - 2.4L/ha in 60 liters of water per hectare. Helicopter application preferred.

  • High Volume application: Apply 400mL in 110L water using ground equipment. Thoroughly wet all leaves and stems.

  • Basal Bark application: Apply 60mL in 15L water to plants less than 5cm basal diameter. Spray around the base and up the stem.

  • Cut Stump application: Apply 60mL in 15L water on plants up to 10cm basal diameter. Spray freshly cut surface before sap dries.

COMPATIBILITY: Compatible with Terbutryn, Glyphosate, Chlorsulfuron, Metsulfuron, 2,4 D Amine, 2,4 D Ester, Diuron, and Molinate. Also compatible with Atrazines, but temporary visible effects on crop growth may occur when used in combination.

Resistance Warning: GROUP I HERBICIDE: PERFORMA 500 HERBICIDE is a Group I Herbicide, a member of the Benzoic acid group with the Disruptor of plant cell growth mode of action. Weed resistance management is crucial as resistant weed biotypes may exist. These resistant weeds will not be controlled by Performa 500 Herbicide or other Group I Herbicides. Relyon (Australia) Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of Performa 500 Herbicide to control resistant weeds.

Precautions: Protection of Crops, Native and Non-Target Plants: Avoid application under conditions or with equipment that may cause spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops. Calibrate spray equipment accurately before use and minimize spray drift by using low pressure and appropriate nozzles. Prevent contact with desirable trees, plants, or their roots, and avoid use in high winds. Protection of Livestock, Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment: Do not contaminate streams, rivers, or watercourses with the chemical or used containers.
