GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - Kenso Agcare Piri-Ken 500 WG Aphicide
MIXING:
- Fill the tank 50 to 75% full, then initiate agitation.
- Slowly pour granules into the tank while maintaining agitation throughout spraying.
- DO NOT pre-mix Kenso Agcare Piri-Ken 500 WG Aphicide granules.
APPLICATION:
- If applying when the temperature is below 15°C, ensure thorough spray coverage for effective aphid control.
FRUIT CROPS - TREE AND VINE CROPS:
Dilute Spraying:
- Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes, matched to the crop.
- Set up the sprayer for even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
- Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of run-off, avoiding excessive run-off.
- Determine water volume based on test volumes, industry guidelines, or expert advice.
- Add the specified amount of product from the Directions for Use table for each 100L of water.
- Spray to the point of run-off, adjusting dilute spray volume and sprayer setup as the crop grows.
Concentrate Spraying:
- Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying (lower water volumes).
- Set up the sprayer for even coverage throughout the crop canopy with your chosen water volume.
- Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy.
- Calculate the concentrate mixing rate using the concentration factor.
- Example: If dilute spray volume is 1500L/ha and concentrate spray volume is 500L/ha, the concentration factor is 3 (1500L ÷ 500L).
- If dilute label rate is 10mL/100L, then the concentrate rate becomes 3 x 10, i.e., 30mL/100L of concentrate spray.
- Adjust spray volume, product amount per 100L, and sprayer setup as the crop grows.
Note: For concentrate spraying, refer to industry guidelines, undergo competency training, and follow best practices.
COMPATIBILITY:
- Kenso Agcare Piri-Ken 500 WG Aphicide can be mixed with Wetspray* and Omite* in the spray vat.
- Mixing with more than one of these products or any other may be ineffective or cause serious damage.
- Such mixtures are not recommended and would be entirely at the user's risk.
