For the control of cotton aphid and green mirid in cotton as specified in the Directions for Use Table.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
RESTRAINTS:
DO NOT apply from aircraft within 100 metres of livestock downwind, downwind pasture or any downwind land that is producing feed for livestock.
DO NOT apply with aircraft when nozzles are higher than 3 metres above the ground or crop canopy AND when wind speed is less than 3 or more than 20 kilometres per hour as measured by an anemometer at the application site or by an approved weather station within 5 kilometres of the site. Use medium spray according to ASAE S572 definition for standard nozzles. Use upwind swath displacement.
DO NOT apply from aircraft unless the active boom width is less than or equal to 60% of the wingspan or 80% of the rotary blade length.

COTTON
Pest: Cotton Aphid (Aphis gossipii)
State: Qld, NSW, WA, NT only
Rate: 55-113 mL/ha + 0.2% v/v Pulse† Penetrant
WHP (days): 10 Days (H)
Critical comments: Use the high rate under sustained heavy aphid pressure. If repeat applications are required, alternate with products from a different insecticide group (refer to Cotton Aphid Resistance Management under General Instructions).
Do not apply more than 2 sprays per crop per season.

Pest: Green Mirid (Creontiades dilutus)
State: Qld, NSW, WA, NT only
Rate: 113 mL/ha + 0.2% v/v Dupont Incide† Penetrant (organosilicone penetrant)
WHP (days): 10 Days (H)
Critical comments: Target Nymphs and/or adults when they reach the economic spray threshold.
On above threshold AND increasing Green Mirid populations, suppression only may be observed.

NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE, OR IN ANY MANNER, CONTRARY TO THIS LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED UNDER APPROPRIATE LEGISLATION.

WITHHOLDING PERIODS (WHP):
HARVEST
COTTON: DO NOT HARVEST FOR 10 DAYS AFTER APPLICATION.
GRAZING

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING
For insecticide resistance management, PRIMAL Insecticide is a Group 4A Insecticide. Some naturally occurring insect biotypes resistant to PRIMAL and other Group 4A insecticides may exist through normal genetic variability in any insect population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the insect population if PRIMAL and other Group 4A insecticides are used repeatedly. The effectiveness of PRIMAL on resistant individuals could be significantly reduced. Since occurrence of resistant individuals is difficult to detect prior to use, Adama Australia Pty. Ltd. accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of PRIMAL to control resistant insects. PRIMAL may be subject to specific resistance management strategies. For further information contact your local supplier, Adama representative or local agricultural department agronomist.
Cotton Aphid Resistance Management
If repeat applications are required, alternate PRIMAL with a registered insecticide from a different chemical group. Do not apply consecutive applications of group 4A insecticides.

MIXING
Shake container prior to opening. Two thirds fill the spray tank with clean water, and with the agitator operating, add the required quantity of PRIMAL. Top up the spray tank to the required volume with clean water with the agitator running. Add the required quantity of non-ionic wetter or Pulse† Penetrant or Dupont Incide† after mixing is complete and spray tank is filled to the required level. Maintain agitation while spraying.

APPLICATION
Ground application: Ensure thorough coverage of foliage. This will require a water volume of at least 50 L/ha.
Aerial application: Ensure thorough coverage of foliage. This will require a water volume of at least 20-30 L/ha.

RE-ENTRY
Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried, unless wearing cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist (or equivalent clothing) and chemical resistant gloves. Clothing must be laundered after each day’s use.

PRECAUTION
Do NOT use human flaggers/markers unless they are protected by engineering controls such as vehicles with enclosed cabs.
