GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Best results are obtained by applying the product to cool, wet soil.

SPRAY PREPARATION

OzCrop Propaz 500 WG Herbicide is a water dispersible granule formulation and must be thoroughly dispersed in water and applied as a dilute spray solution.

  1. Partly (30%) fill the boomspray tank with water.
  2. Add the required amount of OzCrop Propaz 500 WG Herbicide for the area to be sprayed into a pre-mixing vessel while agitating well.
  3. Add this correct amount of pre-mixed OzCrop Propaz 500 WG Herbicide into the boomspray tank with the agitation system operating.
  4. Fill up to the correct volume with water. The mixture must be kept in suspension at all times by continuous agitation, otherwise bottom settling of the product will result. Redispersion of the product will be extremely difficult, and blockages of filters are likely to occur.
  5. When mixing with other chemical products ensure checking all label instructions prior to chemicals being tank mixed with OzCrop Propaz 500 WG Herbicide to check for chemical compatibility. Test a small area for any adverse effects before application.
  6. DO NOT mix with any products that contain the active constituent MCPA. If tank mixing, OzCrop Propaz 500 WG Herbicide must be in suspension before adding other herbicides, insecticides, or surfactants. Check all labels DIRECTIONS FOR USE table prior to tank mixing with OzCrop Propaz 500 WG Herbicide. Wash sprayer thoroughly after use.

Equipment

Always ensure the sprayer is clean, using a suitable spray and boom cleaner as directed. It is recommended that for turf situations, up to 100L/ha spray volume is required.

Resistance Warning: WEED RESISTANCE WARNING

GROUP 3 HERBICIDE

OzCrop Propaz 500 WG Herbicide is a member of the benzamide group of herbicides with an inhibitor of microtubule assembly mode of action. For weed resistance management, this is a Group 3 herbicide. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to OzCrop Propaz 500 WG Herbicide and other Group 3 herbicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any weed population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if these herbicides are used repeatedly. These resistant weeds will not be controlled by OzCrop Propaz 500 WG Herbicide or other Group 3 herbicides.

Since the occurrence of resistant weeds is difficult to detect prior to use, OzCrop Pty Limited accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of OzCrop Propaz 500 WG Herbicide to control the resistant weeds. Advice regarding strategies and alternative treatments can be obtained from your local supplier, consultant, local Department of Agriculture, Primary Industries Department, or OzCrop representative.
