GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

AC Pyramid 250 Herbicide is an aqueous solution designed to eliminate a variety of standing weeds and emerging seedlings. Rapidly stopping growth, it may take over 30 days for symptoms to manifest. Affected plants exhibit discoloration, and growth is often distorted. The active material in AC Pyramid 250 Herbicide is swiftly absorbed through foliage and roots, translocating throughout the entire plant. Foliage treatments provide pre-emergence control as the active material is released into the soil after plant decay. Residual control of weeds, especially for those recommended at the lower rate of AC Pyramid 250 Herbicide, increases when the higher rate is employed.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING

AC Pyramid 250 Herbicide belongs to the imidazolinone group of herbicides, inhibiting acetolactate synthase (ALS) mode of action (Group B herbicide). Some naturally-occurring weed biotypes resistant to AC Pyramid 250 Herbicide and other Group B herbicides may exist due to genetic variability. The resistant weeds can dominate the population with repeated herbicide use, and they won't be controlled by AC Pyramid 250 Herbicide or other Group B herbicides. Detection of resistant weeds before use is challenging, and Axichem Pty Limited accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of AC Pyramid 250 Herbicide to control resistant weeds.

APPLICATION

For faster control of standing weeds, favorable growing conditions at and after application are crucial. Rainfall within two hours of the spray mixture drying on leaves may reduce weed control.

SPRAYING INSTRUCTIONS

• Medium Volume Spraying: Apply through a calibrated spray boom for even coverage. Use suitable nozzles to prevent spray drift onto surrounding desirable vegetation.
• High Volume Application: Use a handgun or knapsack to apply sufficient spray to visibly wet the surface without producing run-off.

MIXING

1. Pour the required amount of AC Pyramid 250 Herbicide into a spray container already holding the total water required.
2. Mix thoroughly. If added during filling, excessive foaming may occur. If foaming is problematic, add a suitable antifoaming agent (consult distributor for specific information).
3. AC Pyramid 250 Herbicide may be applied in hard or soft water. It is corrosive to mild steel, so use ONLY stainless steel, fiberglass, plastic, or plastic-lined containers for mixing, storage, and application.

COMPATIBILITY

For faster knockdown of weeds, certain herbicides may be mixed with AC Pyramid 250 Herbicide. However, bipyridyl herbicides (e.g., paraquat) are NOT compatible and should not be mixed, as it results in poor weed control.
