GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Target Areas: WEED FORCE RENOVATE BROADLEAF & WOODY WEED HERBICIDE is a selective herbicide designed for use in native pastures, forestry, rights of way, commercial and industrial areas, domestic and public service areas, established pastures, and pasture renovation.
Application Guidelines:
- Always include a surfactant/wetting agent in the mixture.
- Optimal results are achieved when applying to actively growing plants free from stress factors such as dry weather or waterlogging.
- Thoroughly cover plants for maximum herbicide uptake.
- Regrowth may occur if applied during plant stress or incomplete coverage. Retreatment is recommended.
- Legumes will be removed if oversprayed, and introduced grass species may be damaged.
- Do not apply to mature blackberry bushes collected for food.
- Allow two years to elapse before treating weeds previously sprayed, burned, or slashed.
- Avoid applying to bushes bearing mature blackberries for food purposes.
Specific Instructions for Established Pastures and Pasture Renovation:
- Sorrel seedlings may germinate after the break in the following year.
- Ungerminated clover won't be affected, but seed set will be reduced in the year following application.
- If using for pasture topping, the product may be mixed with glyphosate, following crop rotation recommendations.
Spray Preparation:
- WEED FORCE RENOVATE BROADLEAF & WOODY WEED HERBICIDE is a dry flowable granule, mixed with clean water. Always add a wetting agent/surfactant.
- For tank mixing, ensure the product is in suspension before adding other products.
- For equipment without agitation (e.g., knapsack), premix in a separate container before adding to the spray tank.
Use of Surfactant/Wetting Agent:
- A non-ionic surfactant is always required with the product. Use 100 mL/100 L of final spray volume.
- When tank mixed with Glyphosate, use a non-ionic surfactant or an organosilicone penetrant.
Application Equipment:
- Can be applied by knapsack, air, hand gun, boom spray, or gas gun.
- Ensure thorough coverage for effective results.
- For aerial application, use a calibrated helicopter and follow specific recommendations.
Tank Mixes with Glyphosate 360 Herbicide:
- Recommended in certain situations for improved weed control.
Compatibility:
- Compatible with glyphosate formulations and commonly used pasture herbicides and insecticides.
Crop Rotation Recommendations:
- Metsulfuron methyl sensitivity in various crop species. Test a small area before sowing crops on treated land.
- Residue persistence varies with site conditions; consider factors like climate, soil pH, moisture, temperature, and product rate.
Caution: Always refer to the companion product label for instructions and restrictions. Contact your Weed Force representative for further information.
