DIRECTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product.
Product Information
Revydas is a systemic fungicide with protectant and curative properties for disease control in winter wheat, spring wheat, triticale, rye, and oats.
Restrictions/Warnings
You must not apply more than two foliar applications of products containing complex II inhibitors (SDHIs) to any cereal crop.
Resistance Management
GROUP 3 7 FUNGICIDES
Revydas should be used in accordance with the instructions for use for the target diseases at the specific growth stages indicated.
Use Revydas as part of an Integrated Crop Management (ICM) strategy, incorporating other control methods, including where appropriate, other fungicides with a different mode of action.
Revydas should be used preventatively and should not be relied upon solely for its curative potential.
Revydas contains boscalid, an SDHI (carboxamide) complex II inhibitor. To minimize resistance risk, apply a maximum of two SDHI fungicide sprays to any cereal crop.
There is a significant risk of widespread resistance occurring in Septoria tritici populations in the UK, which could reduce levels of disease control.
Revydas contains mefentrifluconazole, a DMI fungicide (FRAC Code G1, Group 3).
Resistance to some DMI fungicides has been identified in Septoria leaf blotch (Mycosphaerella graminicola), which may affect product performance.
For further advice on resistance management, consult your agronomist or specialist advisor, or visit the Fungicide Resistance Action Committee (FRAC) and UK Fungicide Resistance Action Group (FRAG) websites.
Crop-Specific Information
Revydas is a systemic fungicide with protectant and curative properties for disease control in winter wheat, spring wheat, triticale, rye, and oats.
Time of Application
For best results, apply Revydas as a protectant treatment. A maximum of one application can be made before BBCH 51 (tip of inflorescence emerged from sheath, first spikelet just visible) in wheat, rye, triticale, and oats.
Rate of Application
Apply Revydas at 1.0 L/ha in a recommended water volume of 150-400 litres per hectare.
Qualified Recommendation
Revydas may be applied at 1.0 L/ha in 100 litres of water per hectare, though efficacy at this reduced volume has not been fully evaluated.
Durum Wheat and Spelt Wheat (Qualified Minor Use Recommendation)
Applications can be made on durum wheat and spelt wheat, but crop safety has not been fully established.
Mixing and Application
Mixing Procedure
Never prepare more spray solution than is required.
Fill the tank three-quarters full with clean water and start agitation.
Invert the container several times before opening to ensure thorough mixing.
Add the required quantity of Revydas to the spray tank while re-circulating.
Add the remainder of the water and continue agitation until spraying is complete.
When using tank mixes, follow instructions regarding the order of mixing, and ensure each product is fully dispersed before adding another.
Use all tank mixes immediately after mixing.
After emptying the container, rinse thoroughly using an integrated pressure rinsing device or manually rinse three times. Add washings to the tank during filling and dispose of the container safely.
Application
Apply as a MEDIUM spray, as defined by BCPC.
Sprayer Cleaning
Wash the sprayer thoroughly immediately after use, following a two rinse procedure with clean water. Follow the sprayer cleaning guidance provided by the equipment manufacturer.
