GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Farmalinx RINKALS Fungicide is a systemic anilide fungicide recommended for the control of Bunch rot (Botrytis cinerea) in grapevines. Optimal disease control is achieved when used preventatively in a scheduled spray program and as part of a rotational strategy with other effective fungicides.

EXPORT OF TREATED PRODUCE:

  • Check Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) or import tolerances in export markets before using RINKALS Fungicide.
  • MRLs may vary between countries, and compliance with export regulations is crucial.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • RINKALS Fungicide is a member of the oxathiin group (Group 7 Fungicide).
  • Fungicide resistance management is essential, and the product should be used as part of an integrated pest management strategy.
  • Some naturally occurring individual fungi may be resistant to RINKALS Fungicide. Continuous use may lead to resistant fungi dominating the population.

MIXING:

  • Partially fill the spray tank with water and add RINKALS Fungicide while stirring.
  • If required, add compatible products and agitate thoroughly.
  • Continue agitation during tank filling.
  • Agitate again before spraying commences.
  • When tank mixing with other formulations, ensure proper mixing order, especially with water dispersible granule (WG) or wettable powder (WP) formulations.

APPLICATION:

DILUTE SPRAYING:

  • Use a sprayer designed for high volumes of water up to the point of runoff, matched to the crop.
  • Achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
  • Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of runoff, avoiding excessive runoff.
  • Determine the required water volume based on test volumes, guidelines, or expert advice.
  • Add the specified amount of RINKALS Fungicide per 100L of water and spray to the point of runoff.
  • Adjust dilute spray volume and sprayer setup as the crop grows.

CONCENTRATE SPRAYING:

  • Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying (applies water volumes less than runoff) matched to the crop.
  • Achieve even coverage with the chosen water volume.
  • Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy.
  • Calculate the concentrate mixing rate based on the concentration factor.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • RINKALS Fungicide is compatible with metiram (700 g/kg), mancozeb (750g/kg or 420g/L).
  • Compatibility with other agricultural chemicals should be confirmed through a jar test.

RE-ENTRY PERIODS:

  • Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried unless wearing appropriate protective clothing.
  • Re-entry with cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrists, chemical-resistant gloves, and proper protective gear.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT:

  • Toxic to aquatic life; prevent contamination of water sources.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in the closed, original container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
  • Triple-rinse containers before disposal, and do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
  • Follow recycling or waste management facility guidelines for container disposal.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

  • May irritate eyes; avoid eye contact.
  • Wear appropriate protective clothing when handling and applying the product.
  • Wash hands and contaminated clothing after use.
