General Instructions:

Product Information: ROOTOUT 212 Herbicide is rapidly absorbed by leaves and green stems, becoming rainfast within one hour and translocating throughout the plant. It accumulates at growing points, halting weed growth and competition with crops within 48 hours. Visible symptoms may take up to a week to appear, with complete weed control usually achieved 3 to 5 weeks after spraying.

Resistant Weeds Warning: ROOTOUT 212 Herbicide belongs to the aryloxyphenoxypropionate (fops) group of herbicides, inhibiting acetyl coA carboxylase. Some weed biotypes resistant to ROOTOUT 212 Herbicide may exist, necessitating careful management to prevent dominance. Sinon Australia Pty Limited disclaims liability for losses resulting from failure to control resistant weeds.

Stress Conditions: Avoid spraying under stress conditions such as drought, high temperatures, low humidity, frost, waterlogging, or after pre-emergence herbicide use. Ensure adequate moisture before or after spraying.

Mixing: Add the required amount of product directly to the spray tank, which should be 50 to 75% full. Maintain agitation during mixing and spraying. Adjuvants like Agral, BS1000, DC Trate, or Ulvapron are essential and should be added as specified.

Time of Application: For optimal results, spray young and actively growing weeds. Grasses should be sprayed before tillering occurs, with higher rates needed once tillering begins. Application timing varies based on weed type and growth stage.

Method of Application: Ensure thorough spray coverage with accurately calibrated equipment. For boom spraying, maintain proper boom height and droplet size distribution. Band spraying should ensure adequate coverage, especially beyond the two-leaf stage of the crop. Aerial application should minimize drift onto adjacent crops.

Cleaning Up: Thoroughly clean equipment after use and rinse several times before reuse.

Compatibility: ROOTOUT 212 Herbicide is compatible with specified adjuvants and pesticides. Do not mix with other pesticides without consulting a Sinon representative.

Protection and Storage: Avoid applying under conditions that may cause drift onto susceptible plants or crops. Do not plant cereal crops for 12 weeks after application. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from children, animals, and food. Do not contaminate waterways with the chemical or used containers.
