GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - MILOR Fungicide

1. Fungicide Properties:

  • MILOR is a fungicide combining the systemic properties of metalaxyl with the protective properties of mancozeb.
  • It should be applied preventively before the occurrence of diseases.

2. Mixing:

  • Fill the spray tank with ¼ of the required water volume and start agitating.
  • Add the required amount of MILOR and allow it to disperse.
  • Add the remaining water while continuing agitation.
  • Ensure thorough mixing before spraying.
  • Agitate vigorously if the mixture is left to stand.

3. Tank Mixing:

  • When mixing MILOR with other water dispersible granule (WG) or wettable powder (WP) formulations, mix them well before adding emulsifiable concentrate (EC) or suspension concentrate (SC) products.
  • Pre-mix wettable powder formulations separately before adding them to the spray tank.

4. Application (Vine Crops Only):

  • Dilute Spraying:

    • Use a sprayer designed for high water volume application matched to the crop.
    • Set up and operate the sprayer for even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
    • Apply sufficient water to cover the crop to the point of run-off.
    • Adjust water volume based on guidelines or expert advice as the crop grows.
    • Add MILOR as per the Directions for Use table.
    • Spray to the point of run-off.
  • Concentrate Spraying: a. Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying matched to the crop. b. Achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy with the chosen water volume. c. Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy for concentrate mixing rate calculation. d. Calculate concentrate mixing rate based on the concentration factor. e. Adjust spray volume, product amount per 100 L, and sprayer setup as the crop grows.

5. Resistance Warning:

  • MILOR is a Group 4 and a Group M3 fungicide.
  • Fungicide resistance may occur with repeated use.
  • Resistant fungi may not be controlled, leading to reduced efficacy and possible yield loss.
  • Albaugh Asia Pacific Limited accepts no liability for losses due to resistance.
  • Consult relevant industry guidelines and follow best practices for resistance management.

6. Precautions:

  • Re-Entry Period:
    • Do not allow entry into treated areas until the spray has dried.
    • Wear protective clothing if entry is necessary.
  • Flaggers:
    • Do not use human flaggers unless protected by engineering controls.

Note: Always adhere to specific rates, safety precautions, and local regulations mentioned in the provided instructions. Consult local agricultural authorities for additional guidance.
