General Instructions - Albaugh Toledo Herbicide
1. Special Warning for Bananas:
- Bag recently emerged bunches in conditions prone to marking damage.
- Avoid spray applications in very rapidly growing fruit in hot conditions with strong direct light.
- Never include adjuvants other than water miscible oils with Albaugh Toledo sprays.
- Wetting agents may cause phytotoxicity to young fruit.
2. Foliar Diseases on Cereal Crops:
- Limit application to cereal crops once or twice per season based on rates.
- Treatment provides approximately three weeks of disease suppression.
- Economic responses may not be gained by spraying crops past the flowering stage.
- Effects of fungicide application visible 7-10 days after application.
3. Spray Timings for Stripe Rust Control:
- Follow advisory literature for classification of resistant and susceptible varieties.
- Seedling infections: Apply a spray within one week when 20 out of 100 leaves show first signs during tillering to jointing.
- Adult infections (susceptible varieties): Apply a spray within one week when 10 out of 100 leaves show first signs.
- Adult infections (moderately susceptible varieties): Apply a spray within one week when 15 to 20 leaves out of 100 show first signs.
- Adult infections (moderately resistant and resistant varieties): Monitor carefully and spray within one week if rust appears and spreads.
4. Mixing:
- Shake the container vigorously before pouring.
- Add Albaugh Toledo to water in the spray vat while stirring or with agitators in motion.
- Add the required amount of Agridex (for beans, peanuts, sugar cane) or water miscible oil (for bananas) and mix thoroughly.
5. Application:
- Aircraft should fly low under prevailing conditions to minimize drift.

- Dilute Spraying:

- Add the specified amount of product per 100 L of water.
- Concentrate Spraying:
- Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying.
- Achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy.
- Determine dilute spray volume and calculate concentrate mixing rate.
- Do not exceed the specified concentrate rate.
- Adjust settings as needed based on crop growth.
- Follow industry guidelines, competency training, and Best Practices for concentrate spraying.
