GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

AC Ruffle Herbicide is an effective solution for weed control. Follow these general instructions for optimal results:

MIXING:

  • Mix AC Ruffle Herbicide with water only.
  • Prepare a quantity sufficient for each day's use; avoid storing the mix.
  • Half-fill the spray tank with water, add the required herbicide quantity, and complete filling.
  • Agitate continuously to ensure thorough mixing before and during application.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • AC Ruffle Herbicide is compatible with specific herbicides, adjuvants, and insecticides. Refer to the product label for detailed compatibility information.
  • Tank mixtures should follow a specific order: wettable powders first, followed by suspension concentrates, water-soluble salts, and emulsifiable concentrate formulations. Add spraying oils and surfactants last if required.

APPLICATION METHODS: A. Ground Application (Boom):

  • Apply with an accurately calibrated boom sprayer, using at least 50L/ha of water.
  • Use flat fan nozzles at pressures ranging from 200 to 300kPa.
  • Set the boom at a height ensuring a double overlap of the nozzle pattern.

B. Aerial Application:

  • Apply in a minimum volume of 35L/ha water.
  • Use calibrated equipment to produce droplets with an average diameter (Volume Mean Diameter) of 200-250 microns.
  • Avoid application under specific weather conditions (temperature above 30°C, calm conditions, or wind blowing towards susceptible crops).

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT:

  • Rinse water should be discharged to designated disposal areas.
  • Thoroughly clean equipment after use, including tanks, pumps, hoses, and nozzles.
  • Decontamination is necessary before spraying cotton and other sensitive crops. Use an alkali detergent as specified in the instructions.

MINIMUM RECROPPING PERIODS:

  • Susceptible broadleaf crops should not be planted within 12 months of applying the product.
  • Cereal crops and grasses can be sown safely after using AC Ruffle Herbicide for weed control.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • AC Ruffle Herbicide belongs to Group I herbicides with a disrupter of plant cell growth mode of action.
  • To manage weed resistance, avoid repeated use, as resistant weed biotypes may develop.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE PLANTS, AND ENVIRONMENT:

  • Do not use on land intended for susceptible crops within 12 months.
  • Certain plants (legumes, vines, vegetables, etc.) are highly susceptible, while cereals and grasses can be sown safely after use.
  • Avoid spray drift onto susceptible crops, and do not apply close to desirable vegetation.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
  • Follow guidelines for container rinsing and disposal. Do not burn empty containers or products.

SMALL SPILL MANAGEMENT:

  • Wear protective equipment during cleanup. Use absorbent materials and follow appropriate disposal methods.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

  • Harmful if swallowed; avoid contact with eyes and skin.
  • Wear protective clothing, including goggles and gloves, during preparation and application.
  • Wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly after use.

Follow these instructions carefully for safe and effective use of AC Ruffle Herbicide. Always consult the product label for specific details and guidelines.
