GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

EVEN DISTRIBUTION OF GRANULES:

  • Effective control requires even distribution of granules.

PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK:

  • Remove domestic animals from the operating area while granules remain on the soil surface.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND THE ENVIRONMENT:

  • Dangerous to fish and other aquatic organisms.
  • Do not allow irrigation water to runoff into creeks and dams.
  • Do not leave spilled granules unattended or on the soil surface.
  • Keep unprotected persons, animals, and wildlife away from spilled granules.
  • Recover and reuse or dispose of spilled granules where possible.
  • Highly toxic to birds; incorporation by irrigation is vital to reduce exposure.
  • Ensure spilled granules are thoroughly covered or buried, not accessible to birds, domestic animals, and wildlife.

RE-ENTRY:

  • Do not allow re-entry into treated areas until the treated areas have been fully irrigated.
  • When prior entry is necessary, wear impervious footwear and chemical-resistant gloves.
  • Rinse footwear and gloves after each day’s use.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Do not store near or allow contact with fertilizers, fungicides, or pesticides.
  • Store in the closed, original container in a well-ventilated area, as cool as possible.
  • Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.
  • Store in a locked room or place away from children, animals, food, feedstuffs, seed, and fertilizers.
  • Dispose of unwanted waste product by burying under 500 mm or more of soil in a non-crop, non-pasture away from water sources or homes.
  • Do not re-use empty containers; destroy by crushing and puncturing.
  • Dispose of empty containers at a local authority landfill or bury at a depth of 500 mm or more at a licensed disposal site.
  • Do not burn empty containers or product.

WITHHOLDING PERIODS:

  • Bananas: Do not harvest for 14 days after application.
  • Citrus, Ginger, Sugar cane, Tobacco, and Tomatoes: Not required when used as directed.
  • Citrus: Do not graze treated area; do not cut for stock food.

WARNINGS:

  • UN 2783 – Pesticides, Organophosphorus, Solid, Toxic* (10% cadusafos)
  • PG II – Hazchem Code 2X

  • All conditions, warranties, and statutory rights of action against FMC or Seller are excluded to the extent permitted by the Legislation.

  • FMC’s liability is limited to the replacement of the product or a refund of the purchase price.

  • The product must be used strictly in accordance with label instructions and other directions for use.
