GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Usage:

  • SABAKEM® PENDIMETHALIN 330EC Herbicide is designed for controlling most annual grasses and certain broadleaved weeds. It inhibits seedling development but does not control established weeds. Optimal results are achieved on weed-free, well-prepared seedbeds.

Crop Safety:

  • Crop injury may occur if applied to poorly prepared seedbeds or if cold, wet weather follows planting. However, crops typically recover with the return of favorable conditions.

Mixing:

  • When using alone, add SABAKEM® PENDIMETHALIN 330EC Herbicide to partially filled tank with water and mix thoroughly. For tank mixes, add other products first, then add SABAKEM® PENDIMETHALIN 330EC Herbicide last. Maintain good agitation during mixing and spraying.

Application Method:

  • Ground Application: Use conventional sprayers with flat fan nozzles. Calibrate equipment properly and apply the recommended quantity in 50-200 liters of water per hectare.

  • Aerial Application: Suitable for pre-plant soybeans, cotton, sunflowers, peanuts, and other crops. Apply in 25-60 liters of water per hectare, ensuring correct calibration and spray pattern. Avoid application in windy conditions.

Incorporation:

  • Thoroughly mix with soil either mechanically or by irrigation/rainfall for best results. Adequate rainfall or irrigation within 3-5 days of treatment is essential for incorporation. Light mechanical incorporation may be needed if no rain or irrigation is received within this period. Ensure incorporation is complete, especially in sensitive crops like grapevines.

Cereal Seed Dressings:

  • Some fungicidal seed dressings may affect emergence if sown too deep. Ensure good seed depth control, especially in areas treated with SABAKEM® PENDIMETHALIN 330EC Herbicide.

Weather Conditions at Planting:

  • Crop injury may occur in cold, wet conditions post-planting, but crops typically recover with warmer weather. Prolonged cold, wet conditions during germination and emergence can affect wheat or barley emergence and stand establishment. Warm weather usually promotes recovery.
