DIRECTIONS FOR USE

RESTRAINTS:

  • DO NOT apply to stressed weeds (not actively growing) due to extreme weather conditions, poor nutrition, diseases, damage, or previous herbicide treatment, as reduced control may result.
  • DO NOT spray if rain is expected within one hour or if foliage is wet from rain or dew.
  • DO NOT burn off, cut, or clear blackberry or other woody weeds for at least six months after spraying.
  • Aerial application is not recommended in wind exceeding 15km/hr and air temperatures above 35°C.
  • In flood-prone areas, treatment should commence after annual flooding, as flooding within 9 months may reduce results.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Follow regional restrictions and directions on the label for any chemical mixed with AC SCRUBBA Herbicide.
  • AC SCRUBBA Herbicide is compatible with certain herbicides and adjuvants, including 2,4-D Amine, DP® 600, Metsulfuron methyl, Glyphosate 450, Fluroxypyr 200, Glyphosate 490, Uptake, Pulse, and non-ionic surfactant (1000g/L).

MIXING:

  • Mix only with water.
  • Half-fill the spray unit with water, add the required amount of AC SCRUBBA Herbicide, and complete filling with agitation.
  • Add spray oils or wetters if needed.
  • Only mix sufficient solution for immediate daily use and avoid storing.

APPLICATION:

  1. WOOD WEED SITUATIONS

    • Treat actively growing weeds.
    • Delay treatment until regrowth reaches approximately 1 meter in bulldozed, slashed, burnt, or plowed areas.

    A. High Volume Spraying - Ensure thorough coverage without excess spraying. - Use appropriate equipment for specific weed situations.

    B. Aerial Application - Apply in 200L of water/ha with an aircraft, avoiding spraying conditions above 15km/hr wind or 35ºC air temperature.

    C. Controlled Droplet Application (CDA) - Use equipment like Micron Herbi® to achieve results similar to high volume spraying. - Select appropriate nozzles and check spray coverage with a marking agent.

    D. Low Volume High Concentrate Application Techniques - Use gas-powered guns or sprinkler sprayers for good control, adjusting coverage based on bush size.

    E. Boom Application - Apply in a minimum spray volume of 200L/ha for Galenia and St John’s wort, and 600L of water/ha for Sicklepod. - Use flat fan nozzles at 200-300kPa with the boom set to ensure double overlap of nozzle patterns.
