General Instructions:

This product is designed to kill annual grasses and most annual broadleaf weeds (excluding capeweed) in specific situations. It quickly kills green plant tissue on contact and is immediately inactivated in the soil. Here are the key points:

  1. Selective Weed Control: This product kills annual weeds while allowing perennial plants and clovers to recover after an initial scorch. This allows desirable perennial species to thicken up at the expense of the weeds.

  2. Application:

    • Do not use hand-held, ultra-low volume controlled droplet applicators, boomless jets, or misting machines.

    • Mix the required quantity of product with water in the spray tank and agitate well.

    • A wetting agent is included, and additional wetter is only required if high-volume spraying results in excessive dilution of the wetter content.

    • Use clean water only for mixing, ensuring it is free from clay, silt, and algae.

    • Adjust spray volumes based on the density of weed growth, ranging from 100L/ha for seedlings to 200L/ha for taller weeds.

    • Wash spray equipment immediately after use, as the product is highly corrosive to metals, particularly galvanized iron and aluminum.

  3. Compatibility and Tank Mixtures:

    • This product combines satisfactorily with several other herbicides for prolonged weed control and quick knockdown.

    • Ensure to read and follow all label directions for tank mix products, including restraints, spray drift restraints, mandatory no-spray zones, withholding periods, regional use restrictions, and safety directions.

  4. Spraying Conditions:

    • Avoid spraying plants under stress from waterlogging, frost, drought, or covered with dust and soil.

    • Application is recommended in dull weather or at the end of the day for better results.

    • Light rain following spraying will not affect results, but avoid drift into neighboring crops.

  5. Resistance Warning:

    • This product belongs to Group L herbicides and has the mode of action of "photosynthesis at photosystem I inhibitor."

    • Some naturally occurring weed biotypes may be resistant to this herbicide, and repeated use may lead to resistant weeds dominating the population.

    • Ensure to follow resistance management strategies to prevent the development of resistant weeds.
