GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Product Description:
Smart Loaded 540 Herbicide is a non-selective herbicide effective against most emerged weeds and plants. It lacks residual weed control and can be used before sowing any crop, but not prior to transplanting tomato seedlings. It can be mixed with certain other herbicides for knockdown and residual weed control.

Absorbed by foliage and green stems, it moves into the root system. Apply to actively growing weeds, avoiding treatment during poor growing conditions. Reduced results may occur with heavy dust or silt coverage or prior herbicide application.

For annual weeds, effects may be seen in 3 to 7 days; for perennials, it may take 2 to 3 weeks, especially in cool or cloudy weather.

A non-volatile liquid, it easily mixes with water. Heavy rainfall within 2 hours of application may necessitate a repeat treatment. Avoid contact with desirable plants, as severe injury may result.

Compatibility:
Compatible with certain herbicides, insecticides, and additives.

Withholding Period:
No withholding period for stock is required, but grazing should be delayed to ensure herbicide absorption. Delay grazing of known toxic plants until treated plants brown completely.

Crop Establishment:
Recommended for emerged weed control before crop establishment. Suitable cultivation and sowing are necessary for optimal seedbed conditions.

MIXING:
Avoid using water containing soil or calcium salts. Do not mix, store, or apply in certain containers due to flammability risk.

Surfactant Addition:
Non-ionic surfactant may improve weed control with high water rates or low product rates.

APPLICATION:
Avoid spray drift to desirable plants. Thoroughly rinse equipment after use.

Ground Application:
Apply 25 - 100 L of spray mix per hectare. Use fan nozzle equipment with specific pressures.

Aerial Application:
Use only in pasture or fallow areas before establishing new crops. Do not exceed recommended application rates. Follow specific spray volume and droplet size guidelines.

Drift Warning:
Avoid application under conditions conducive to drift.

Tank Mixtures — Compatibility:
Read and follow all label directions for tank mix products.

Tank Mixtures — How to Choose:
Follow suggestions for appropriate tank mixtures to enhance weed control under various conditions.
