GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

APPLICATION INFORMATION:

  • BOOM SPRAYING: Use 30-100L water/hectare.

  • AERIAL SPRAYING: Use 10-90L water/hectare.

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND USAGE:

  • Equipment used for this chemical should not be used for other materials on sensitive plants unless thoroughly washed with hot soapy water or a 1% solution of ammonia, followed by clear water rinses.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • The product may be mixed with Dicamba, Flowable Diuron, Glean, Gramoxone 250, Propon, Atrazine, Spray-Seed, Picloram, and Tribunex.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING:

  • Imtrade Smash 625 Selective Herbicide belongs to the Phenoxys group of herbicides, with the Disruptors of plant cell growth mode of action.

  • Group I Herbicide – Weed resistance management is crucial to prevent dominance of resistant weed biotypes.

  • Imtrade Australia Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of Imtrade Smash 625 Selective Herbicide to control resistant weeds.

PRECAUTIONS:

RE-ENTRY PERIOD:

  • DO NOT hand-harvest sugarcane for at least 1 day after application.

  • Workers re-entering treated areas before spray dries should wear overalls, elbow-length gloves, and water-resistant footwear. Clothing should be laundered after each day's use.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE AND OTHER NON-TARGET PLANTS:

  • DO NOT apply under conditions causing spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, cropping lands, or pastures.

  • Avoid spray drift and vapor movement onto susceptible crops such as cotton, tobacco, tomatoes, vines, lupins, fruit trees, and ornamentals.

  • Very toxic to aquatic life; DO NOT contaminate wetlands or watercourses.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Read and follow storage and disposal instructions on the label.

  • Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Avoid prolonged storage in direct sunlight.

  • Dispose of containers appropriately – triple rinse, recycle, or deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

  • Poisonous if absorbed by skin contact, inhaled, or swallowed. Corrosive to eyes and skin.

  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin. DO NOT inhale vapors or spray mist.

  • Wear chemical-resistant waterproof clothing, gloves, footwear, and a full facepiece respirator during handling and application.

  • Wash contaminated skin areas immediately, and in case of eye exposure, rinse thoroughly with water.

  • After use, wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly. Wash gloves, respirator, and clothing after each day's use.

  • Ensure equipment is cleaned thoroughly after use, especially if switching to applications on sensitive plants.
