General Instructions:

Product Description: Sulstice 750WG Herbicide is a selective herbicide absorbed by foliage and roots, acting rapidly to inhibit acetolactate synthase (ALS), essential for root and shoot growth in sensitive plants. It targets wild turnip and suppresses barley grass, brome grass, wild mustard, and wild oats in wheat and triticale crops.

Pre-Emergent:

Apply to bare soil prior to sowing or at sowing, incorporating it with the sowing operation for thorough mixing. If applied to dry soil with delayed sowing, incorporate immediately to prevent wind erosion. Optimal results occur when applied to bare soil before anticipated rain within 7-10 days.

Post Emergent:

Target young, actively growing weeds. Use higher rates for heavy weed pressure or larger weeds. Follow up with suitable herbicides for subsequent germinations. Best results are seen when rainfall wets the soil within 7-10 days of application.

Mixing:

Fill the spray tank partly with water and start agitation. Add the correct amount of product to the tank with agitation running. Continue agitation while topping up the tank with water and during spraying. Ensure Sulstice 750WG Herbicide is in suspension before adding companion products or surfactants. Use the spray mix within 24 hours of preparation.

Application:

Apply using a boom sprayer to achieve a MEDIUM spray quality. Use 40 to 100 liters of water per hectare, adjusting for crop or weed density. Avoid overlapping boom runs. DO NOT apply by aircraft.

Sprayer Cleanup:

Rinse thoroughly with water after spraying wheat or triticale crops. For other crops, drain and rinse tank and spray boom with water for at least 10 minutes. Rinse with a water and household chlorine bleach solution, then thoroughly with clean water. Clean nozzles and filters separately. Dispose of cleaning water properly.

Compatibility:

Check compatibility with other products before tank mixing. Compatible with certain pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides. Use specified adjuvants at recommended rates.

Crop Safety:

DO NOT use on winter cereals under legume pasture crops. Avoid use on barley or oats. Consider soil carry-over effects and sensitivity of rotational crops. Seek advice for specific soil conditions and crop rotations from Relyon (Australia) Pty Ltd.

Note: Crop yellowing or retardation may occur under existing stress factors. Early-season crop retardation may occur in soils prone to zinc deficiency with pH greater than 8.
