GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Insecticide Resistance Warning: Sumitomo Sumithion ULV Premium Grade Insecticide is a Group IB insecticide. Resistance may occur in insect populations with repeated use.

Withholding Periods: Consult landholders before spraying near sensitive areas.

Mixing: Apply Sumithion ULV Premium Grade Insecticide neat. Do not mix with water. Clean equipment after use if not dedicated solely to this product.

APPLICATIONS AND BUFFER ZONES

Aerial Application: Apply between 200 mL/ha to 400 mL/ha. Maintain a buffer zone of at least 1.0 km from sensitive areas.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUES

Ground-based applications: Use air-assisted, misting, and electrostatic sprayers.

Aerial applications: Minimize off-target drift. Use differential GPS track guidance and smokers.

RECORD KEEPING: Maintain detailed records for aerial applications including environmental conditions and applicator information.

PRECAUTION

Ground Spraying: Use vehicles with enclosed cabs whenever possible.

Aerial Spraying: Operators should use closed mixing/loading systems to minimize exposure.

Human Flaggers: Protect with engineering controls such as enclosed cabs.

PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT: Avoid drift onto sensitive areas. Dangerous to bees; do not spray flowering plants while bees are foraging.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Rinse containers before disposal. Dispose of rinsings properly. Do not burn empty containers or product.
