MIXING

Begin by partly filling the spray tank with water and starting agitation. With the agitation system running, add the correct amount of SUNPASS 750 WG HERBICIDE to the spray tank. When tank-mixing with paraquat, ensure that SUNPASS 750 WG HERBICIDE is added to the spray mixture first, followed by paraquat to ensure thorough mixing. Continue agitation while topping up the tank with water and during spraying. Use the prepared spray mixture on the day of preparation and do not allow it to stand overnight.

TANK MIXTURES

Carefully read and follow all label directions, including restraints, spray drift restraints, mandatory no-spray zones, critical comments, withholding periods, regional use restrictions, and safety directions for the tank mix product.

APPLICATION

  • Sugarcane: Apply in a minimum spray volume of 250 L/ha using flat fan nozzles for best results. Select the lowest pressure within the recommended nozzle operating range to reduce drift. Use a nozzle size that delivers a medium to coarse droplet at the selected operating pressure.

SUNPASS 750 WG HERBICIDE can be applied to hot and dry soils without the risk of breakdown by sunlight. Rainfall or irrigation activates the herbicide, carrying it into the root zone of germinating weeds. However, under prolonged dry conditions, a greater quantity of rainfall or irrigation may be required for effective activation, especially for deep germinating weeds like Wild Radish.

COMPATIBILITY

In sugarcane, SUNPASS 750 WG HERBICIDE may be tank-mixed with paraquat formulations at appropriate label rates. It is also compatible with diuron, atrazine, and ACTRIL DS, provided specific application rates are followed. However, it should not be tank-mixed with trifluralin in chickpeas.

SPRAY EQUIPMENT CLEAN-UP

Thoroughly clean all mixing and spray equipment, including pumps, nozzles, lines, and screens, immediately after using SUNPASS 750 WG HERBICIDE to avoid injury or exposure to non-target crops. Use a good quality tank cleaner and rinse the equipment multiple times. For decontamination, circulate a liquid alkali detergent or chlorine bleach solution throughout the system for at least fifteen minutes. Rinse water should be discharged onto a designated disposal area or unused land away from desirable plants and water courses.
