SYSTHANE 125 EC: GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

FUNGICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING:

• Group C Fungicide: Systhane belongs to the DMI group of fungicides and is a Group C fungicide.
• Resistance management is crucial.
• Some fungi may become resistant through genetic variability.
• Resistance can result in reduced efficacy and yield loss.
• Dow AgroSciences accepts no liability for losses due to resistance.

Fungicide Resistant Management Strategy:

1. Apply a maximum of 3 Group C sprays per season.
2. Use non-Group C fungicides for mid to late-season control of powdery mildew.

Export of Treated Fruit:

• Check MRLs (Maximum Residue Limits) or import tolerances for markets.
• Some markets may have different MRLs than Australia.
• Contact Dow AgroSciences or The Australian Wine Research Institute for the latest information.

Equipment:

• Apply with conventional drive-past orchard sprayers.
• DO NOT apply by aircraft.

Application:

• High Volume:

  • Apply in sufficient water to thoroughly wet the crop to the point of run-off.
  • Water volume increases with crop size and leaf canopy.
  • Minimum volume: 800 L/ha pre-flowering, 1000 to 1500 L/ha from flowering onwards.

• Low Volume:

  • Apply the specified rate per hectare with sufficient equipment for thorough coverage.

Mixing:

• Two-thirds fill the spray tank with water and agitate while adding Systhane.
• Add other products after Systhane is fully mixed.
• Top up the spray vat and agitate before spraying.

Compatibility:

• Compatible with Polyram OF, Foli-R-Fos, Galben M, Ridomil Plus, and wettable sulfur.
• DO NOT mix with copper-based fungicides.

Protection:

• Low hazard to bees.
• Application to vines at any time will not harm bees.
• DO NOT contaminate waterways.
• Avoid spray drift onto nearby crops, pasture, or livestock.

Storage and Disposal:

• Store in the closed original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
• Rinse containers before disposal, and add rinsings to the spray tank.
• Dispose of undiluted chemicals appropriately.
• Follow recycling guidelines or bury empty containers in a designated disposal pit.
• DO NOT burn empty containers or product.

Safety Directions:

• Irritating to eyes, nose, throat, and skin.
• Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and inhalation of vapors.
• Wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and wash hands after use.
• If contact occurs, wash affected areas immediately.
• After each use, wash gloves, goggles, and contaminated clothing.
