GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

MIXING: Mix only with water as it will not mix with oil or diesel fuel. Maintain mechanical or bypass agitation in the spray tank during spraying. Follow these steps for mixing:

  1. Add wettable powder or water dispersible granules first.

  2. Then add suspension concentrates (e.g., atrazine flowable).

  3. Follow with aqueous concentrates (e.g., TITAN Picloram 75-D Herbicide, 2,4-D Amine).

  4. Next, add emulsifiable concentrates and finally surfactant or crop oil.

APPLICATION: TITAN Picloram 75-D Herbicide can be applied through various methods:

  1. Ground Boom: Spray using accurately calibrated equipment delivering 50-100L water/ha. DO NOT use less than 200L/ha in Sugarcane. When treating Maize and Sorghum, use dropper nozzles to avoid spraying the growing point of the crop.

  2. Aircraft: Apply with accurately calibrated equipment to deliver not less than 20L water/ha. DO NOT use less than 50L/ha in Sugarcane.

  3. High Volume: Apply using a calibrated handgun with D5 or D6 (2-3mm) nozzle plate operated at 400-500kPa. Typically, 2,400-3,500L water/infested ha is required to thoroughly wet the weed.

  4. Stem Injection: Treat only trees with good sap flow. Make injection cuts at specified spacing around the diameter of the tree and inject the chemical mix into each cut immediately.

  5. Cut Stump: Cut trees close to the ground and apply the chemical mix immediately to the freshly cut surface to thoroughly wet it.

  6. Frilling: Make successive overlapping cuts into the sapwood around the entire circumference of the tree base and spray to thoroughly wet the frilled area.

  7. Injecting Spray into Centre of Weed: Inject the treatment mix into the growing point of the plant stem.

COMPATIBILITY: TITAN Picloram 75-D Herbicide is compatible with various herbicides including atrazine, 2,4-D Amine, diquat, metsulfuron-methyl, Topik, and glyphosate formulations.

CLEANING SPRAY EQUIPMENT: After use, rinse the tank thoroughly and clean all parts of the equipment. Use an alkali detergent for decontamination before spraying sensitive crops.

WEED RESISTANCE WARNING: TITAN Picloram 75-D Herbicide is a Group 4 herbicide. Weed resistance may occur if herbicides are used repeatedly without proper management.

RE-ENTRY PERIOD: Workers should wear protective clothing if re-entering treated areas before the spray has dried.

PROTECTION OF CROPS, NATIVE AND NON-TARGET PLANTS: Avoid spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants/crops, cropping lands, or pastures.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS, AND ENVIRONMENT: Avoid contaminating wetlands or watercourses with the product or used containers.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL: Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Follow specific instructions for disposal based on the container type.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS: Avoid inhalation, ingestion, and skin or eye contact. Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment during handling and application. Wash thoroughly after use and before eating, drinking, or smoking.
