General Instructions:

MacPhersons TORPICO 750 WG Herbicide is an early post-emergence, foliar absorbed product with some soil activity. Under favorable conditions, it provides pre-emergence activity, controlling subsequently germinating weed seedlings. Affected plants exhibit pale, bleached leaves with irregularly shaped white and mauve blotches, which spread and lead to plant death in susceptible species.

Crop Safety: After application, transient bleaching of field pea and lupin foliage may occur, limited to leaves present at the time of application. The development of the crop and subsequent new growth are generally unaffected. Some minor crop height reduction may occur in certain situations, especially if the herbicide is applied with adjuvants or under stress conditions. Avoid swath overlaps during spraying to prevent crop retardation and severe bleaching.

Compatibility: MacPhersons TORPICO 750 WG Herbicide is physically compatible with certain pesticides including Eclipse®, FASTAC® Duo, Lemat®, metribuzin, Rogor®, Select®, simazine, and Talstar®. Avoid tank mixing with pesticides that require adjuvants, as these may increase crop sensitivity. Apply at least ten days apart from other pesticide applications. Test mixtures in suspected poor or hard water before mixing commercial quantities.

Application: Apply by ground application in a minimum of 50 liters of water per hectare. In dense radish and crop situations, increase water volume to ensure good coverage. Do NOT apply by air. After application, clean spraying equipment by flushing with clean water, with or without the addition of a commercial cleaning agent.

Mixing: Half fill the spray tank with clean water, start agitation, and add the required amount of product to the tank. Maintain agitation while filling the tank and throughout the spraying operation. If in-line filters cannot be bypassed during agitation, premix granules before adding them to the spray tank.
