General Instructions:

Mixing:

• Use sprayers in good condition with high capacity agitation.

• Clean the sprayer according to label instructions before using KELPIE TRALK-D 400 WG HERBICIDE.

• Only use clean water for the spray solution.

• Ensure all in-line strainers and nozzle screens are 100 mesh or coarser.

• Do not use cartridge or disc filters after the spray tank outlet or have multiple filters directly after each other in the system.

• Begin filling the spray tank with clean water and engage the agitator.

• Add KELPIE TRALK-D 400 WG HERBICIDE slowly when the tank is half full, ensuring continuous agitation.

• Do not premix the herbicide.

• Add the total required amount of KELPIE TRALK-D 400 WG HERBICIDE from all bags before adding other herbicides or adjuvants.

• Allow at least one minute after adding the herbicide for complete dispersion before adding other products.

• Add adjuvant last, slowly, in at least 10 times its volume of water.

Spraying Instructions:

Ground Equipment:

• Apply in a spray volume of 50-150 L of water per hectare at a pressure of 250-350 kPa.

• Use flat fan nozzles like Spraying Systems 110-01, 110-015, 110-02, or equivalent sizes.

• Do not use larger nozzles or floodjet, boomless jets, or misters.

• Nozzles may be angled forward 45 degrees for better coverage.

• Ensure continuous agitation during spraying. If agitation is stopped for more than 5 minutes, re-suspend the spray solution before spraying.

• The spray mixture can be left overnight if properly re-suspended before reuse.

Aerial Equipment:

• Apply through boom or Micronair in 20-30 L of water per hectare.

• Use droplet size of 200-250 microns (VMD) and adjust swath width accordingly.

• Weed control from aerial application may not be as effective as ground application.

Crop Safety:

• Avoid applying to stressed crops or crops with less than 2 true leaves (Z12) to prevent yellowing or growth retardation.

• Crops typically recover without yield loss.

Plantback Periods:

• Wait four weeks before planting sorghum, maize, or rice after application.

• Allow at least 10 days between application and any other herbicide or fertilizer treatment.

Compatibility:

• Do not mix with 2,4-D, MCPA amine, dicamba, or metsulfuron-methyl 600 WG.

• Allow adequate time between applications of KELPIE TRALK-D 400 WG HERBICIDE and herbicides containing these actives.

Resistance Warning: KELPIE TRALK-D 400 WG HERBICIDE is a Group A herbicide. Use rotations and integrated weed management practices to prevent the development of resistant weeds.
