General Instructions for agVantage Triallate 500 EC Herbicide

Weed Control: agVantage Triallate 500 EC Herbicide provides 6 to 8 weeks control of wild oats when the seedbed is moist during emergence. Under very dry surface conditions (top 2cm), wild oats may not be controlled. Emerged wild oats will not be controlled.

Crop Safety: Reduced emergence of cereals and linseed may occur if seed is placed in treated soil layer. Do not plant cereal crops deeper than 5 to 7 cm. Overspraying of headlands or corners may result in crop damage. On heavy clay soils, crop thinning may occur in wheel tracks. Environmental conditions affecting emergence or early crop growth may predispose crops to injury.

Soil Persistence and Following Crops: Under prolonged and extremely dry conditions, agVantage Triallate 500 EC Herbicide may persist for several months, potentially damaging field oats and sorghum.

Mixing: agVantage Triallate 500 EC Herbicide is an oily concentrate that mixes readily with water. Add the required amount to half the required water in the spray tank, mix thoroughly, and then add the remaining water.

Application: Apply to soil in friable condition for uniform incorporation to a depth of 2 to 4 cm. Soil should be free of large clods and not have crop or weed residue interfering with soil flow. Emerged wild oats should be controlled prior to planting.

Spraying Equipment: Apply by ground sprayer in 30 to 100 litres of water per hectare using a boom spray with flat fan nozzles. Use spraying pressure of approximately 200-240kPa. Avoid application under strong or gusty wind conditions. DO NOT apply by aircraft.

Incorporation: Two-pass incorporation is superior on heavier soils. Initial incorporation may be done with harrows, followed by a combine or airseeder/cultivator for maximum weed control. Incorporate within 24 hours for optimal effectiveness.

Compatibility: agVantage Triallate 500 is compatible with Chlorsulfuron 750 WG, Triasulfuron 750 WG, Trifluralin 480 EC, Glyphosate, and Sulfosulfuron 750 WG.

Resistance Warning: agVantage Triallate 500 EC Herbicide belongs to the thiocarbamate group and is a Group J herbicide. Resistant weed biotypes may exist, and repeated use may lead to dominance of resistant weeds. No liability is accepted for losses resulting from failure to control resistant weeds.

Protection Measures: DO NOT apply under weather conditions or from equipment causing spray drift onto nearby susceptible plants, crops, or pastures.

Protection of Livestock, Fish, Crustaceans, and Environment: Dangerous to fish. Prevent contamination of dams, rivers, or streams. DO NOT contaminate water with the herbicide or used containers.

Storage and Disposal: Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not store in direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Rinse and recycle containers with the drumMUSTER logo. For non-recyclable containers, deliver to an approved waste management facility. Do not burn containers or product.

Refillable Containers: Empty fully into application equipment, close valves, and return to the point of supply for refill or storage.
