GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Tridim 250 EC: Tridim 250 EC is a systemic, foliar fungicide with broad-spectrum activity, quickly absorbed by plants and translocated within the plant. Its systemic nature makes it less susceptible to the impact of rainfall or irrigation compared to contact-type fungicides.
Mixing: Half-fill the spray tank with clean water, add the required amount of Tridim® with the agitator running, and top up the tank with water. Thoroughly agitate before and during spraying.
Application:
Dilute Spraying (Grapevines, Pawpaws):
- Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes up to the point of run-off, matched to the crop.
- Set up and operate the sprayer for even coverage throughout the crop canopy, avoiding excessive run-off.
- Determine the required water volume through testing, industry guidelines, or expert advice.
- Add the specified amount of product per 100L of water and spray to the point of run-off.
- Adjust dilute spray volume and sprayer operation as the crop grows.
Concentrate Spraying (Grapevines, Pawpaws):
- Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying (applies less water than run-off) matched to the crop.
- Set up and operate the sprayer for even coverage throughout the crop canopy with the chosen water volume.
- Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume for the crop canopy.
- Calculate the concentrate mixing rate based on the concentration factor.
- Example: Dilute spray volume: 1500L/ha, concentrate spray volume: 500L/ha, concentration factor: 3x, dilute label rate: 10mL/100L. The concentrate rate becomes 3 x 10, i.e., 30ml/100L of concentrate spray.
- Adjust spray volume, product amount per 100L, and sprayer operation as the crop grows.
- For grapevines, do not exceed the concentrate rate specified in the Critical Comments as higher rates have not been tested.
- Consult industry guidelines, undertake competency training, and follow best practices for concentrate spraying.
FUNGICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING: Tridim belongs to the DMI group of fungicides and is a Group 3 fungicide. There is a risk of resistance development due to genetic variability in fungi populations. Colin Campbell (Chemicals) Pty Ltd accepts no liability for losses resulting from the failure of Tridim® to control resistant fungi. Do not apply more than 2 consecutive applications of any Group 3 fungicide. Rotate approved products from different chemical modes of action.
PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEA, AND ENVIRONMENT: Harmful to fish. Do not contaminate waterways with the product or used containers.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:
- Store in the closed, original container in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
- Triple rinse container before disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
- If recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to the recycler or designated collection point.
- If not recycling, bury or puncture empty containers in a landfill. If no landfill is available, bury containers below 500mm in a disposal pit marked for this purpose.
- Do not burn empty containers or the product.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS:
- Tridim may irritate the eyes and skin. Avoid contact and inhalation. Wear protective clothing, gloves, and goggles during preparation.
- If in eyes, wash immediately with water. After use, wash hands, arms, face, gloves, and contaminated clothing.
- In case of poisoning, contact a doctor or Poison Information Centre.
- If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. If in eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
