GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

FUNGICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING:

  • AC Tripod Fungicide belongs to the DMI group of fungicides, being a Group 3 Fungicide.
  • There's a risk of resistant fungi development through normal genetic variability if used repeatedly.
  • Resistant fungi won't be controlled, leading to reduced efficacy and potential yield loss.
  • Detection of resistant fungi before use is challenging; no liability is accepted for resulting losses.

RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT RECOMMENDATION – PEANUTS:

  • Apply no more than 3 consecutive sprays of DMI fungicides like AC Tripod before switching to a non-DMI fungicide.
  • Limit DMI sprays to a maximum of 5 per season.

SPECIAL WARNING - BANANAS:

  • Under specific conditions (hot weather, rapid fruit growth), emerged fruit is prone to marking damage from spray applications.
  • Recommended precaution: Bag all emerged bunches before spraying in such conditions.
  • Use only water miscible oils with AC Tripod Fungicide; wetting agents may cause phytotoxicity to young fruit.

FOLIAR DISEASES ON CEREAL CROPS:

  • DO NOT apply to cereal crops more than once in a season.
  • Treatment provides approximately 3 weeks of disease suppression.
  • Economic responses may not be observed if sprayed past the flowering stage.
  • Effects of fungicide application may take 7-10 days to become evident.
  • Yield potential influences economic responses; crops with potential yield under 2 t/ha may not respond economically.

SPRAY TIMINGS FOR STRIPE RUST CONTROL:

  • Follow advisory literature for resistant and susceptible varieties.
  • Adjust spray timing based on leaf infection levels for different varieties.
  • Adult Infections (Susceptible Varieties): Apply a spray within one week when 10 out of 100 leaves show signs of infection.
  • Adult Infections (Moderately Susceptible Varieties): Apply a spray within one week when 15 to 20 leaves out of 100 show signs of infection.
  • Adult Infections (Moderately Resistant and Resistant Varieties): Monitor carefully, and if rust appears, spray within one week.

LETTUCE:

  • Test reactions of crops by treating a small number of plants before applying to the entire crop.

MIXING:

  • Shake container vigorously before pouring.
  • Add AC Tripod Fungicide to water in the spray vat while stirring or with agitators in motion.
  • Add the required amount of Agridex (for peanuts, beans) or water miscible oil (for bananas) and mix thoroughly.

APPLICATION:

  • Aerial application should fly as low as possible under prevailing conditions to minimize drift.
  • Avoid contaminating ponds, waterways, or drains with the product or used containers.
  • Implement a spray drift minimization strategy during aerial applications.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:

  • Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area.
  • Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.
  • Triple-rinse containers before disposal, and do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site.
  • If recycling, return clean containers to a recycler; if not recycling, puncture and deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS:

  • Harmful if swallowed; avoid eye and skin contact.
  • Wear protective clothing, including cotton overalls, hat, and PVC gloves.
  • Wash hands, arms, and face thoroughly after use and before eating, drinking, or smoking.
  • Wash gloves and contaminated clothing after each day's use.
