WITHHOLDING PERIOD
- Adhere to the withholding period(s) specified on the label of the companion product(s) used.
Mixing:
- These are general mixing instructions. Always follow the mixing instructions of each ingredient in the tank mix. Ensure product compatibility. Recommendations on other product labels always take precedence over mixing instructions on this label.
- Add water to the spray tank to 10cm above the level of agitation and ensure the agitation device is working vigorously. (There must be a minimum of 100L of water in the tank before any pesticide is added.)
- If tank mixing, use the following general order for mixing partners: first add water dispersible granules (e.g., Eclipse), second add flowable formulations (e.g., atrazine), third add emulsifiable concentrates (e.g., Fluroxypyr 200EC), fourth add water-soluble liquids (e.g., Clopyralid 300 Herbicide), and last SMART UP and other adjuvants.
- Between the addition of each ingredient allow at least one minute to ensure thorough mixing before the new tank-mix partner is added.
- Finally add SMART UP. Continue filling the tank to the required volume maintaining agitation at all times.
- Only mix sufficient spray solution for immediate use. Haloxyfop and other tank-mixes should be applied immediately for best results.
Storage of Spray Solution:
- Agitate for 1 hour every 8 hours, and agitate for 1 hour before spraying out where spray solution is not applied within 8 hours of mixing.
Cleaning Spray Equipment:
- The presence of the product(s) makes it essential for the spray equipment to be thoroughly cleaned between different applications.
- To rinse and decontaminate spray equipment refer to the relevant product labels for instructions.
PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT
- Do not contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used container.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
PRECAUTION
- EXPLOSION WARNING: Apparently "empty" containers may contain liquid and/or vapor which can be explosive if exposed to an ignition source at temperatures above 90°C. Such conditions may occur during cutting or welding. DO NOT cut or weld these containers. Explosion may cause injury or death.
- Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.
- DO NOT store near food, feedstuffs, fertilizer, or seed.
- DO NOT re-use 20L, 200L containers.
- Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. If recycling, replace cap and return clean container to recycler or designated collection point.
- If not recycling, break, crush or puncture and bury empty containers in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.
- For 110L and 1000L containers - Empty contents fully into application equipment. Close all valves and return to point of supply for refill or storage.
SMALL SPILL MANAGEMENT:
- Wear appropriate clothing whilst cleaning up small spills. Apply absorbent material such as earth, cat litter, sand or clay granules to the spill.
- Sweep up material for disposal when absorption is complete. Dispose of the contaminated material in accordance with local or/and State recommendations.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS:
- Avoid inhalation or skin contact of spray mist.
