GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Mixing:
- Add the required amount of Vega 250 directly to the spray tank and mix thoroughly.
Application:
- Thorough coverage is crucial for effective results.
- Aerial Application: Use 20 to 30L water/ha.
- Ground Application: Use at least 100L water/ha.
- Macadamia Nuts: Apply by high volume (dilute) or concentrate sprayer.
Dilute Spraying:
- Use a sprayer designed for high water volumes up to runoff. Set up to cover the crop evenly, applying enough water to reach runoff.
- The required water volume is determined through tests or industry guidelines. Add the specified product amount per 100L of water. Adjust as the crop grows.
Concentrate Spraying:
- Use a sprayer designed for concentrate spraying. Achieve even coverage using chosen water volume.
- Determine dilute spray volume (as in Dilute Spraying) for the crop canopy to calculate concentrate mixing rate.
- Example: Dilute spray volume 2000L/ha, concentrate volume 500L/ha, concentration factor is 4 (2000L ÷ 500L = 4).
- If the dilute label rate is 50mL/100L, then the concentrate rate becomes 4 x 50, i.e., 200mL/100L of concentrate spray.
- Adjust spray volume, product per 100L, and sprayer setup as the crop grows. Consult industry guidelines for further details.
Compatibilities:
- Compatible with various insecticides, fungicides, and other products. Check for compatibility before mixing.
Fungicide Resistance Warning:
- Vega 250 EC Fungicide is a Group 3 fungicide (DMI group).
- Resistance may occur in naturally resistant fungi through genetic variability.
- Kenso Agcare Pty Ltd is not liable for losses resulting from the failure to control resistant fungi.
Precaution: Re-entry Period:
- Do not enter treated areas until the spray has dried unless wearing protective clothing. Launder clothing after each use.
Protection of Livestock:
- Low hazard to bees; may be applied to plants any time.
Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustacean, and Environment:
- Dangerous to aquatic organisms. Avoid spraying near water bodies, wetlands, or watercourses.
- Do not contaminate dams, waterways, or drains.
Storage and Disposal:
- Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
- Triple-rinse containers before disposal. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on-site.
- Return clean containers to a recycler or designated collection point. If not recycling, bury empty containers in compliance with regulations. Do not burn.
- For mini bulk returnable containers, follow specific instructions regarding storage, tampering, and return after use.
